The WORST Tim Hortons experience I have ever had. I was at Tim Hortons Onroute Morrisburg at 7pm ish on Sept 4th 2023. A LOT of things have gone wrong with my order.
The Cashier at that time have a very bad attitude and doesnt care at all.
I wanted the Make A Meal option with an upcharge option with my warp. You can choose to upgrade your main options (warps, sandwich and loaded bowl) to a meal by adding a side and a drink. The picture on the menu board clearly suggests 3 options (cookie & drink, fries & drink, or soup and a drink) under the wraps and loaded bowl. The Cashier told me I cannot do that despite the picture clearly showing that. I tried to ask questions about it but she just half-assedly brushed the questions off, dont bother to explain to me how the Make a Meal deal works and moved on push me finish my order quickly.
Later on I realized there was a misunderstanding and she did not put a soup on my order. I asked about it the staff just said she didnt charge me for it and said that if I want the soup I have to line up again for it. So I line up twice just to get all I want to buy. The Cashier gives me side eye. It took me a lot of effort to finally get an explanation that for a meal deal I need to order a soup with a pastry and a drink (which still make no sense to me as it is not at all like what the menu display indicates). She then only give me an option to buy a soup seperately. Had she explain to me that soup is not a side option then I would have choose something else instead of paying for everything seperately. Absolutely no apologies was received.
BUT guess what? There is no chicken so no soup available unless I want chicken soup with no chicken (haha). The one telling me to go back in line for the soup did not let me know this. So I wasted another 15' at this point and I want at least something else. The Cashier did not suggest that there is chili instead. I have to asked for a chili instead myself.
Bonus to my bad experience. I wanted a Cilantro Lime Chicken Loaded Bowl. The Cashier said there is no chicken (or beef left so they can only do veggies). I got charge full price still. The cashier did not give me the receipt (or even asked if I want the receipt). And let me tell you the Veggies loaded bowl (only option I have) looks ABSOLUTELY PATHETIC. The bowl is half-filled no crispy onion with the tiny amount of lettuces and tiny bit of cucumber chunks. I also paid over 7 dollards for large size chili and I received a small chili cup with a small square roll. I was so upset at that point and dont want to line up for the 3rd time so I just gave up and left. I dont know if they run out of food and cut down the portion or they mistaken my order for a small size but I get charged large size price for a Pathertic amount of food. If this is truly the portion then I am deeply dissapointed in Tims Hortons.
At least PLEASE works on the PORTION SIZE, MENU DISPLAY and CUSTOMER...
Read moreI am not sure how to describe this, but everytime i go to drive thru, The kind of customer service I get is not at all upto Tim Hortons standard.
I would like to mention a few things here, I get a plain crossaint heated with butter but i have harldy got it heated. Sometimes the excuse is that we cant heat the crossaint in the microwave, sometimes even though they puch in the system that I requested heated but they would end up not heating it. When i check and raise a complaint right then and there at drive thru they would just snatch the bag from me as if i am stealing something.
Their Garlic bread would always be the reheated one, the cheese on the bread can tell the difference if it is fresh or reheated. Crispy chicken cravable hardly has any sauce in it. The bread is always hard as a rock and it is hard to eat without having water or a drink to help it go down ur throat
I have been there multiple times and the face that they make is not welcoming at all as a guest. In general, everytime i go there i just feel like they dont wanna serve you but they just are for the sake of it. I mean i work in restaurant too and no matter how bad my day is or how desperately i want to not serve a customer i still pull off a poker face and attend it cz not only did i sign up to do the job, but I understand that I represent the management and also the franchise itself. Read moreA few months ago I wrote a very favourable review but have since had such a terrible experience I needed to change my review!! I purchased a roast beef craveable a couple of weeks ago for my 89 year old mother and asked for them to cut the sandwich in half as it's hard for her to eat. I was given a small wooden knife in my bag to cut it myself. I did try but the insufficient knife just mangled the sandwich all together. Today, Monday February 26th around 130 p.m. I went through the drive through to order the sandwich for my mother again, I asked at the speaker if they could cut the sandwich to which I was told o.k. I received my order and I checked to make sure the sandwich was cut as it's hard for her to eat and it was not so I parked and walked into the store and asked if they could cut the sandwich for me. The worker turned to the kitchen and asked the woman if they could cut my sandwich to which she replied no. I was again handed the same small knife and told to cut it myself. Even after I explained that the small knife just rips through the sandwich I was told no. I said "is there no sharp knife you can use to just cut it quickly" and I was told no! Seriously it would have taken exactly 5 seconds to do and I would have left so happy. Instead I left so frustrated! Why couldn't SOMEONE in that store realize it was such a small gesture?!? I had to drive back home to cut the sandwich before dropping it off! I don't know what's happening at that particular Tim's but everyone seems extremely disgruntled...
