Pita Pit — Restaurant in South Huron

Literally the worst experience I’ve ever had at a Pita Pit location. I have gone to 8 locations in 6 different cities/towns.

I would give it 0 stars if I could.

For reference I was at this location on Monday April 17th around 630pm. (Management this is for you)

When we walked in, the young person working was mopping to keep the seating area clean. Awesome stuff…BUT when we went to the counter, they did not stop. The person behind the counter did not stop working to assist us either. We were the only customers in the restaurant. There was no line. And no mobile orders were being worked on either.

We stood there, ignored, for a good minute and a half. Unacceptable customer service. Strike 1.

Then, when we ordered, we were told something was unavailable (totally happens. All good)…well, when the drawer below the grill was opened, I saw the item requested sitting there…so we were lied to…wow…Strike 2

To continue, when our items were placed on the grill, we were not asked if we wanted veggies on the grill at all…which we are always asked. Every single time we order at any location. The veggies and our black bean pieces were not blended nor properly heated through either.

So I had to prompt the young person working. I was met with an eye roll. Absolutely strike 3.

Horrible customer service. I nor my household will ever bring business to this location again.

As an international chain, certain service standards are a requirement. Restaurant management 101.

I am a regular customer and attended this location at least once a week. I will never come back after the experience I just had. it took over an hour to get my food. No exaggeration. Partially no fault of the poor employee working by himself on a busy night and who should never have been in that position. Especially as he appeared inexperienced. However, that said. After over an hour my order (2 pitas) was still incorrect. I also witnessed him decline a phone call at least twice on his personal phone (appreciate that he didn’t take the calls…) no with his gloves on, and then resumed preparing the food without changing gloves. No effort was made to compensate or even apologize for the delay and issues experienced. We were so excited when this location reopened. Now it’s just a disappointment and clear that whoever owns/manages this location does not care about customer...

If you want cold toppings off the grill served with a bad attitude, this is the place to go. Our Buffalo Chicken pitas were served to us with the meat still cold off the grill. And the attitudes of the 2 girls working there where horrible. It seemed as if we were putting them out by even setting foot in the store. They couldn't be bothered to get any more toppings out so we had to make due with what they had left set out (3 pieces of pineapple was all we were getting on our pita).
