Booster Juice — Restaurant in South Industrial District

I order from here almost weekly. The service is always prompt, friendly, and efficient. I typically go in the evening and there is not many people around. Today I visited at 3 PM instead and I don’t think I will visit during this time again unfortunately. I typically order an acai bowl, and although the bananas are always frozen, the smoothie blend always tastes great so I have continued to order it. I placed a mobile order, as I usually do, and picked my acai bowl up today. When I went in there was probably 30 people in the store, so I want to give the benefit of the doubt that they were overwhelmingly busy and this was a one off, but that acai bowl was terrible. Although the service was still the usual, quick and friendly, my bowl was extremely disappointing. It was the consistency of water, with way too much spinach, which left a ton of green specks blended in. Not only were the bananas frozen, but they were stuck in one giant clump, and the bowl was an unappetizing brown colour I’ve never experienced before. Store closes at 9 PM and I entered at 8:20 PM. You can read the girl's face, like she is telling me why did you enter the store this late. She didn't say anything but immediately came running towards the door to shut the open sign off. I ordered 2 Heavenly Horizons when after 5 minute later the other girl took my order. As soon as I said Heavenly Horizons, the same girl gave me such a disgusting look that I may have asked her to work overtime without pay. I felt like telling her that no need to give the looks, I'll rather not close here ever and leave immediately. Thought everyone gets tired maybe that's why she is acting like that so I continued. Got my juice after 5 minutes and you can tell there was nothing Heavenly about it and tasted so different than any other booster juice O have ever visited (it was my first visit to this location). And yes, This is the one of the 2 juices I drink from booster juice wherever I go and I can tell the difference.

Love Booster Juice’s menu and the variety of options. We’re never disappointed with what we order at this location as far as quality, and taste however this location is under staffed for sure due to the fact that whenever we go, there is only ever one person working and there’s always a line up. We always expect to be waiting at least 15-30 mins when we order whether it’s for 1 drink or 4. The staff isn’t the worst but also not super friendly but we chalk that up to just being too busy to be nice since the one person who’s working is trying to fill a bunch of in store orders plus delivery orders. I wish this location was cleaner too, this location just happens to be filthy all the time, even early in the morning when you’d think it would be it’s cleanest. The sofa cover is really gross it definitely doesn’t get laundered as often as it should.
