Used to come here all the time. Truly was a regular customer as it is a healthy option right by my Gym. The quality and service over the last two years has unfortunately gone down a black diamond ski slope… The portions have gotten a lot smaller. The 3 pieces of rubber chicken is also not worth the 5$ up charge.
I ordered a salad off of Skip, midst Finals season. It ended up being around $22, which is a lot for me, a University student. It had wilted lettuce and a hair. I drove to the restaurant to return my food and the new manager on shift could do nothing about it. She said I needed to contact skip, which I did, and I never received my money back. Whatever. The manager on shift could have notified me on the phone before I came into the restaurant that “we cannot give you a refund” instead of wasting my time. I thought she was incredibly inconsiderate, unapologetic, and unprofessional. My parents who own businesses would have dealt with the issue by offering a remake, coupons, or an apology.
I never write reviews and i’m not trying to be a Karen. I sadly won’t be coming back as this is now the second time i’ve had a not so great experience. Nonetheless, when the food is made properly, it’s good. However, it’s a hit and miss. Very...
Read moreThis was unreal. Been to my local chopped leaf's in Sherwood park and they are amazing. This one however... mind blown. I walked in, ordered my food, stood and waited and watched... as the three people working took over 20 mins to make a salad and a wrap. The young man behind the counter dropped the chicken for the wrap, then continue to put it in the salad and didn't think I saw him until I assured him that I did. He then dumped it and started a new one. As for the salad I asked for no tomato, after he loaded it with tomato and he tried to pick them out with his bare fingers... again not thinking I didn't see this I assured him I did. So he tossed it and started another. Meanwhile the young lady who was working making salad rolls with her bare hands, long false finger nails, taking wee breaks to pull her pants up and take customers at the til, all while not washing and usuinh same hands to finish those salad rolls. Honestly... I have never been more disgusted. Expected better from a St. Albert Chopped...
Read moreToday We tried a different location for chopped leaf. We usually go to the Mayfield location which is always spectacular. I love the cranberry chicken sandwich, I go out of my way to get these because they are so amazing. Today it was not. The bread was barely covered in cranberry spread, the cheese was not melted and I mean not at all. There was bits and pieces of lettuce and it wasn't even equal on either side of the sandwich. So a cold mess is what I had for supper and it was the second attempt. The one staff member who worked there remade my sandwich which I appreciated because she said the first one didn't turn out but neither did the second attempt. I also ordered a popeye salad for my family to share and a wrap for my daughter. It took a long time to get my order so I left without checking it, another mistake because when I got home I ended up with 2 wraps somehow. Very disappointed in the...
