I HAD THE PLEASURE TO MEET ADAM. ADAM WAS VERY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL AS I WAS SO UNDECIDED ABOUT WHAT I WANTED. I ENDED UP GETTING THE ICEBERG WITH THE BLUE RASPBERRY MY FIRST TIME. I ENJOYED THE FIRST ONE THAT I HAD TO GO BACK AND TRY THE CHERRY ONE. JUST WANTED TO LET ANYONE WHO MAY LIKE SLUSHIES & VANILLA ICE CREAM, THIS IS A GREAT OPTION ( ALMOST LIKE A FLOAT). ADAM HAD MENTIONED THAT HE COULD BLEND THE TWO TOGETHER & BOTH TIMES I ORDERED THE ICEBERGS I WAS MORE THAT SATISFIED HOW GREAT THEY BOTH TASTED. THE TWO BEING BLENDED TOGETHER IS AN AWESOME IDEA, IT TOOK THE SWEETNESS OF THE SLUSHIE AND ONCE BLENDED IT WAS JUST PERFECT AND NOT AS SWEET. ADAM GREAT IDEA FOR ANOTHER PRODUCT TO ADD TO YOUR MENU. My family has nothing but good to say about this small but mighty gift of a local business. I mean, first off, who doesn't love ice cream, slushies & milkshakes? Secondly, the service is top tier. The people there are patient (so many wonderful choices mean it's sometimes difficult to choose!), friendly, helpful & kind; very literally, they embody the concept of "service with a smile". Moreover, the quality of the product is great; they serve the Canadian owned Kawartha Dairy Products & they rotate out flavours so there's always SOMETHING to try. And happily, especially in this economic climate, the price is reasonable & one can take the whole family out for a treat without feeling their pennies pinched. I stopped here with my 6-year-old, during a bike ride along the canal, after his camp one day, during the heat wave. It's cute, they have 60's music playing at the perfect volume, you can hear it but it's not at all overbearing. Hotdogs are pricy but where isn't these days, but so worth it. Might have been the best hotdogs we've ever had. They have a good-sized, shaded patio, with tables and benches. It's very well decorated and has lots to enjoy looking at. It has a good vibe. The employees are pleasant and friendly. They also, have an ice cream trailer right beside it and we enjoyed the ice cream on that super hot day as well as the hot dogs.
