Opa & Oma's Diner — Restaurant in St. Catharines

Never been to this place before, went in and sat down took about 10 minutes before we were acknowledged and then asked what we wanted for drinks. She brought our drinks over a few minutes later and asked if we were ready to order, we said we dint get a menu. The waitress (if that's what you wanna call her) told us to get up and look on the wall for the menu. So we looked at it and then sat back down. About 5 minutes later a group of people came in and sat at the table beside us, the "waitress" came over quickly to get their drink orders, and was just as quick to bring their drinks back, walking past us both times. When she brought the drinks she asked if they were ready to order, they said yes. She took their order, and I said were ready to order too, she looked at me and walked right completely ignoring us. We ended up getting up and walking out the door, to find a MUCH BETTER place. I read a few reviews after and see that the girls running it are pretty much running it into the ground after taking it over from their family. ...

First and most importantly the food was very tasty and priced well. You can tell that due to it being a smaller business it took a bit of a hit during the pandemic and it doesn't seem they've fully recovered which you can see displayed from the still remaining Plexiglass, to the chalkboard still showing the once was mandates, to the shirts asking customers to social distance. Overall this diner definitely deserves any and all praise despite the slightly outdated interior. If you find yourself looking for a nice breakfast this is definitely the right...

If you are looking for a great breakfast restaurant in St. Catharines, Opa & Oma's Diner is an excellent choice. The service was fast and the food was great but to top it all off the price was shockingly low for the quantity of food we got.

We really enjoyed our time at Opa & Oma's because the servers are friendly, they are super quick and you get way more bang for your buck than other breakfast diners in the area.

I will definitely be returning to Opa & Oma's Diner in St. Catharines, ON the next time I visit since the service, food and price...
