This location is disgusting! The employees are ignorant and the food prep station is completely unsanitary. Today I was overcharged and waited over 25 minutes to have my order taken, and my wrap made. I got a salad for a side and I asked the other employee who was cleaning up the back corner to help her because she has no idea what she's doing and she's asking you guys for help, come and show her. I then get attitude as she comes over. The new employee then goes and gets someone from the back, I thought it was the manager. I ask her to go and get the paperwork for me to make a formal written complaint. Of course no one has any idea where those are. So I tell her to go find it. I get told again they don't know where it is so I say "that's fine I want your names written down on paper." She gives me her name and only her first name. So I tell her again, no I want your first and last name as well as the other employees working in this room. First and last name that is what you give someone when they are asking to file a complaint against you. I get nothing but ignorant attitude for both of the young women working... because Im about to complain. When I also realize they girl who was cleaning, and is now making my salad, didn't wash her hands and she isn't making wearing gloves. So nasty I'm pregnant and I am not eating that after shes been cleaning the floors and everything. Are you kidding me??? So I absolutely got ignorant I wanted my wrap because I had been waiting 35 minutes at this point and I have my husband and my 18 month old child in the car waiting for me. I then have some old lady come up to me and tell me to leave because I'm being rude. I have every right to be. That's disgusting and I'm paying for fast food if I wanted to wait a half hour I'd go to a nice restaurant. So did they and I have gotten any of the food I just paid for and waited for. I tell them to give me my food and I will leave so they do. I ended up throwing out the food because I was so grossed out by the sanitation issues. I came into Tim Hortons barely functioning — hair a mess, eyes half-closed, soul in desperate need of caffeine. Kota took one look at me, and within minutes, had me holding the most perfect coffee known to humankind. I’m 99% sure they have barista superpowers.
Ordering from Kota is like being served by your funniest friend who also happens to be a mind reader. I didn’t even finish my sentence before they knew exactly what I wanted — plus somehow convinced me I needed a donut (spoiler: I did).
During the morning rush, I watched Kota run the counter like a caffeinated air traffic controller — taking orders, making drinks, grabbing bagels, and still finding time to toss in a joke that had the whole line smiling. At one point, I think they broke the sound barrier handing out Timbits.
While I was waiting for my coffee, a seagull tried to swoop in through the door (probably for a Timbit), and without missing a beat, Kota side-stepped, handed out two orders, shut the door, and kept taking payments like it was just another Tuesday. Zero drama. Pure hero energy.
If Tim Hortons ever runs out of coffee, just have Kota smile at people — the energy boost would be about the same. Whoever’s in charge: protect this employee at all costs, or Starbucks is going to steal them and rename their top...

A few weeks ago I ordered a vanilla latte with extra espresso, and I instead received a cup filled to the brim with steamed milk, literally nothing else. And almost every other time I go, I end up leaving with vastly underfilled drinks, or drinks that are made entirely wrong. On top of this, I highly recommend against placing a mobile order at this location. The last 5-6 times I've used the mobile order service, it has taken over 15 minutes for them to even acknowledge my order, let alone start making it. I will say though, the crew during the week is great, it is just absolutely terrible on the weekends. This location has definitely been on a downward spiral these past 6-8 months. Hopefully these problems are addressed soon and I can get Tim Hortons again without worrying about...
