Rozie's Cafe — Restaurant in St. Catharines

First visit here. I have to say it's a very quaint place on a nice street. Very limited parking. The food was ok but nothing spectacular for what is charged. The servers were very friendly but super slow. Not a lot of tables. We had a party of 8 4 at each table. We ordered at the same time and ended up waiting twenty minutes longer as other got theirs. Even people who came in after got theirs. Seems that two servers each thought the other was taking the order out. Communication is key.

Now it's nice but not super clean. There was bacon on my seat. The oars on the wall and the awning outside were filthy. Lots of webs and bugs. Normal for this time of year at your cottage but not a place where you eat.

Prices are absolutely outrageous. Even in Hamilton or Toronto this would expensive. 4 bucks for a mug of coffee. That's it. Coffee. 8 bucks for a large pancake. Also no sugar in the dirty sugar container. Lady brought literally 2 packets for four people. No cream. Small. Milk. 4

Breakfast for four, heavy hitters with toast and bacon one waffle and 4 coffee was 86 bucks. Double checked the bill and yes it was correct. Never coming here again I think. The waffle had no flavour to it. The banana was the only thing giving it anything.

Do yourselves a favour and drive ten or fifteen minutes and go somewhere else.

Also You have two large steps up and I do mean large. No handrail. Just a large handle to pull yourself up if you are able bodied. If you have pain, weaknesses or canes good luck. One person with a cane came in but had to be pulled...

I dare ANYONE to find a breakfast better than Rozie’s Cafe. You can’t, I will save you your time and energy. This is a family run business with the kids being mainstays of the restaurant. Momma is always hiding in the kitchen with her kids and family friends/spouses. This restaurant is home at its finest. I don’t know how they remember our orders just by saying our name or seeing our face... right down to the jam I like. I wish I had photos to add, but my plate is empty.

Although I don’t eat Keto (although it would probably help 😂) Rozie’s has an incredible array of dining options and take home foods that you can purchase. So ahead of their time.

I went into pick up my food today and they’ve renovated!!!! The aesthetic is everything Port Dalhousie and more. Family owned check! BEST BREAKFAST ON THE PLANET Check! INCREDIBLE STAFF Check! DIETARY DIVERSITY Check! Aesthetically pleasing check! And best of all it’s home for Port Dahlousie and surrounding areas.

My husband and I came Here wanted to try a new breakfast place we ordered our food we sat there for 55 minutes not once did a server come by and ask if we wanted a Coffe refill in that 55 minutes I went up twice and asked for a refill and for the food they never came by our table ! People that came after us got their food before us ! So I went up a third time and said can I just refill my own coffee we have been waiting for an hour for our food I was told To sit down and they will come Refill it !!! When they got To our table they apolgazied got us the refill and said our bill was on the house there was a mix up !
