Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in St. Thomas

“This was my cousin experience at Popeyes in St.Thomas today which is under new management. He placed his order and was told it would take 15 min to cook the spicy chicken. No problem. It wasn't that busy and so He waited. 15 min later a whole tray of regular chicken came out. No one said anything. After 10 more minutes He questioned the length of time it was taking. They said it would be another 5 min. He then said you put the wrong chicken down didn't you. They replied that mistakes are made and at least He would get fresh chicken. No consideration about how long He had to wait. After filling my order in 30 minutes with no apology on how long it took He again stated his position on how long it took. He states that at no time did He use profanity. They told him “if he didn't like it to F@#k off and not come back!” “He said don't worry he won't and that He would wait to speak to management.” As He was leaving He was confronted by someone seated at a table that was the Manager and he also told him to “F@#k off and don't come back.” Never in my life have I ever heard of a customer treated so disrespectful by employees and management. It's your choice if you want to deal with these people but we won’t and we have started sharing this horrible experience on fb and to our many, many...

When this restaurant first opened years ago I thought it was a license to print money. Sadly, it started to go down hill. It was expensive and too often I found myself biting into chicken and getting a mouth full of grease.

In the last 6 months I've slipped in a few times. It seemed as though the food had gotten somewhat better. The fellow behind the counter seemed to care about what he was doing but the restaurant was empty.

Today, May 16th I decided to pop in. The young woman taking care of me seemed new and excited to be there. If she isn't a daughter of this new management I'm reading about she should get an immediate raise. She seems like she's excited to make her restaurant successful. As a customer it's nice to get service from someone who seems to want to be there.

I have no idea what the washrooms were like, but the restaurant itself seemed clean. And most importantly the food was perfect. And let's face it, Popeye's chicken itself is pretty awesome if prepared properly. The restaurant wasn't exactly full but deserves to have more...

I had ordered pizza for my wife at Domino's Pizza and I downloaded coupons for KFC.

I figured I would grab KFC for myself and then pick up the pizza.

I went into KFC and there were about 6 people waiting for food. Around 5 minutes had passed and the cashier still hadn't acknowledged me. I ended up walking back out as my wife's pizza was ready.

As I was leaving Domino's Pizza, I passed Popeye's. I quickly pulled into the McDonald's and ran into Popeye's. My first impression, as it was my first visit, store only had one person ordering food. I placed my order and as I was just finishing paying for my order the cup for my pop and my meal were placed onto the counter. Super fast service! Wow!!!
