Tim Hortons — Restaurant in Strathroy-Caradoc

I’m not one to write a review, however, this experience was beyond fathomable. I am not sure of the circumstances, but please read this if you are considering this location.

I typically go to the other location, but after running errands, this was closer. 1st red flag: it was 4pm, all I wanted was a plain bagel toasted with butter, unfortunately only cinnamon raisin bagels left. Sad, but I’m not one to make a fuss, it will do. 2nd red flag: 10 minutes go by, the 2 cars in front of me do not move. People begin backing out of the drive thru, but I am committed to this bagel. It had been a long day. 3rd red flag: After 15 minutes, I’m at the window. I try my best to be kind to food industry workers as I know the job is probably not that enjoyable. Regardless, after waiting for what seemed like an eternity at the window. I finally paid. 4th red flag: After paying, I waited ANOTHER 5 minutes. Only for the girl to hand me an abomination, I wouldn’t even say this is a bagel, with the wrapping SOAKED in greasy butter. Not a word, or a smile. Finally: I take a deep breath, smile and let it go. Only to open up the soaked paper, revealing this bad boy. Or should I say, BURNT BOY. What on earth is that? I took one bite and spat it out, absolutely disgusting waste of my time, disgusting service, and I will never get that silly $2 back.

Pretty unfortunate to be honest. If you are understaffed, hire. If you are blatantly disregarding customers, close. I assure you, driving 5 minutes down the road to the other location in Strathroy will be worth it. Sincerely, a sad...

Drive thru is fine but all the young whipper snappers and social outcasts use this Timmies as their local hang joint since it's downtown.

UPDATE: July 2018: This place is full of lackards again. My sister and I were in line back to back and combined we waited 25 minutes to get served 2 extremely simple orders. We are talking coffee and a toasted bagel, not some crazy complicated order.

I waited 10 minutes alone to get a coffee while the staff doddled around doing seemingly nothing. The drive thru staff were sitting there chatting, left me and another guy waiting in line while the one kid was slowly serving customers AND making the food.

Seems like they've gone to a completely opposite spectrum of poor management style from 2017, where now you occasionally get both slow and poor quality, avoid this Timmies if you can until the robots have put all these careless teenagers out of work.

UPDATE June 2017: I'm back! The new staff is friendlier and no more burnt coffee. The class of 2017 must have been raised without violent cartoons because I haven't had a bad experience here in months.

UPDATE Jan 2017: I no longer go to this Timmies - the coffee is consistently burnt or weak and the staff rushes the food. I just paid $4.50 for a grilled cheese sandwich that didn't even have melted cheese. They never toast their bagels properly, they focus on speed rather...

Only If I could give 0. After waiting in line for 15 minutes,I ordered one hot choclate, 1 french vanilla and an everything bagel with butter and hashbrown. First, the lady who took my order staright refused that they don't have everything bagel, even though i can see everything bagel behind her in the rack. I pointed her the bagel. She took the order and I paid for that with mastercard. After 2 min, the lady who made my bagel gave me the bagel and told me very rudely we are out of hasbrowns. Atleast ask me before making my food, give me some options. Instead of hashbrown, i could've ordered something else. But, 👎. She yelled at her manager to give me a refund. Manager came after 2 min and took money out from her cash till and just handed me 2.50 cash. No even small apologies. She didn't even look me the eyes while giving me my money back. What a joke these people are. Never going to this location. Worst customer...
