I was so excited as a long time customer to have the Starbucks arrive in Summerside. I understood it would be super busy for a time, so I did not try to order. After about 8 days, I did try. I am allergic to coffee, but LOVE the cold drinks. I waited five customers deep to be told they had no juice and could not make any cold drinks. OKAY, walk away and try again. Each time I am in the Summerside Superstore which is often, the line up is five to nine people deep. There are as many as five people behind the counter. The other day it was three people so I thought WOO HOO, I will try my 11th attempt...after 15 minutes with the staff behind the counter unsure what they were doing to take a customers order, I left. This morning, my birthday, I awoke to the offer of a FREE drink. Excited, I braved the counter, waited, and whammo, can not have a FREE birthday drink because they don't have the equipment to scan my offer??????? We have become complacent as a society accepting this indifference. I understand it's just a drink...however, as a business minded person, WHY?????????????????????????? would you open a Starbucks where the staff can not seem to master the menu as the order taking process is painful, and the lineups staggering...just saying....you don't have to worry, I won't attempt to order again. ;) P dot S DEAR STARBUCKS, an advantage would be to hire staff who have tried and...
Read moreI’m not from the area I drove 3 hours and stopped in to get drinks for the people I’m visiting. I had to explain the drink 3 times to the cashier which was fine she was nice, but then once I was waiting for the drink (which was about 15 minutes by the way) the girl KEERA gave me a matcha? When I had ordered an iced chai latte, and an iced latte with 2 pumps of chai and almond milk. I had said that wasn’t my drink, and she aggressively chucked it in the garbage. I had to explain the (SIMPLE) drinks to her 7 times, and she kept asking me how much chai was in the other drink when it was just the normal amount… she then threw another cup in the garbage aggresively and I was very nice with a smile and didn’t mind explaining as I work in customer service but this girls need an attitude change. Read moreI love Starbucks as the staff are the friendliest you will ever find no matter where you go or so I thought. Most not all of the staff don’t even acknowledge your there. Out of the couple dozen times I’ve been my order has been correct maybe a handful of times even with using the app. I’ve had multiple drinks taste like just milk and to say I paid $8 for a cup of milk is beyond frustrating. They are not consistent and they lack basic manners. I always smile and say thank you when I pick up my mobile order and most of the time they are leaning against the counter chatting to each other and the most you get is a look in your direction. No greeting, no smile and they don’t say boo to you. I stopped coming for the longest time in hopes it was just lack of training for being a new location but at this point I would say it’s lack of manners and they just don’t seem to care about...
