Sunny's Dairy Bar — Restaurant in Summerside

Love these outdoor ice cream places where you walk up to a window to order! Even better, the ice cream was really great. We tried their coconut cream soft serve flavor and it tasted like a coconut cream pie. Also tried their vanilla soft serve with salted caramel dip. The ice cream was creamy and the dip had sea salt in it so you get a nice salt crunch when you bite into it. It's not really salty though so don't worry. The prices were good for the amount of ice cream you got too as a bonus. Once you get your ice cream there is also a clean picnic seating area behind the building. It's also a fun place to get some pictures with some of the props (think giant milkshake...) they have there. Overall, this place was great. Judging by the lineups, on a less than busy boardwalk, I think other people also thought it too. Definitely worth a visit! If not for ice cream, they also have a killer...

Every Summer my family and I look forward to being presented with a huge variety of ice creams, milkshakes, frozen yogurts, sundaes, smoothies etc..to choose from. We always leave Sunny's with a smile on our face and yummy treat in our hands. Sunny's gets a 5* rating for the variety of ice creams etc..to choose from, the establishment being very clean indoors & outdoors, the friendly staff & management, the location next to a walking trail with the view of the water & of course the prices are reasonable considering the portions that are served. I can't wait for Summer to arrive to take a drive...
