New Express Pizza — Restaurant in Surrey

I had a long day of work, and when I got back from work all I wanted to do was order a pizza and have extra for lunch the next day at work. Calling around to lots of places I either got a "we don't deliver there " because I was more then 12 blocks away, or the prices were ridiculous, I found this place and called. This place has great service. I wanted a delivery deal but wanted two pizzas that were from the menu. They accommodated this without hesitation. The price was low, considering the 2 pizza deal, as anywhere else I called charged at least another ten dollars for what I know is not really worth the prices or the wait time. This place did have a longer wait time then a chain, but this is not a big chain style pizza parlor. The pizza is as close to a home style pizza you will get, with everything seeming to be made from scatch. The pizza was cooked to a perfect crunch and not burned. And I think a selling factor that is all but not ever mentioned about this is portion sizes. They don't skimp out on their toppings and the menu has a classic menu you would come to expect, but also their own flare on it as well. Compliments to the chef for taking pride in his work. I will definetly be going back for more in the future. Well worth your wait if your worried...

Unfortunately after over two years of ordering gluten free pizza from this place I am editing my previous review due to frustration with the service at this establishment. They keep increasing the price, we were not told on the phone that our regular order will be more expensive when they increased the price three days prior. I was told it is my fault for not looking at the menue before ordering. I explained I always get the same thing so I do not look at the menue every time. The owner argued with me for a long time. Apparently the gluten free pizza which only can be ordered in medium size, he said started at $12.00 and is now $19.00 for one medium pizza. This is the price to pick up only because if we ordered to our house (3 blocks away) we are charged a 3$ delivery fee plus 2$ extra per pizza ordered. That is an extra 5$ right off the bat to order to our house. A $20.00 medium gluten free pizza for pick up is ridiculous and overpriced regardless of how it tastes. There are too many competative options for gluten free pizza that are a better value for similar product. Especially when the regular crust medium pizza we ordered for our friends is only $14.00 with their price increase. No longer...

To start I will say I have ordered for my family of 5 around 4 times from this place. First 2 times were ok. The pizza was fresh, tasted good, and was loaded with ingredients. The 3rd time was poor service but the pizza was "ok" tasting. This last time has confirmed we will NOT be ordering from here again. The service was riculous. An extra charge to have an ingredient removed? To switch from white onion to red? To order the pizza half and half? Just ridiculous. Then we got the pizza ... and what shall I say besides DISGUSTING! I ordered the Mexican special and it was insanely loaded with onion (which I think was intentional because I argued about the extra charge from white to red) and it made it taste like an onion pizza instead of Mexican especially because they put it under the cheese which left it raw. I then of course called to speak to the manager to let them know we weren't happy with the insane amount of onion and he just said "what do u want? That is how we make it" 🤤 um, excuse me, Mr. Rude. I want you to know that, that much onion on a pizza should only be asked for. I was shocked. Not only will we NOT be ordering from here anymore but we will let every person we know...
