Last night, we ordered two passionfruit slushes with pearls. When the drinks arrived, the colour looked very strange; it had a pinkish milky white hue, unlike the usual yellow passionfruit slush. We asked the waitress about this, and she confidently told us that it was indeed the passionfruit slush without checking with the drink counter.

The colour was so odd that we questioned her further. She hesitated and then said they had switched to a new powder, which made the colour different. Then she left. We were still uneasy because my husband is lactose intolerant and cannot drink milk. To be sure, we asked another waiter nearby, who also confirmed it was passionfruit slush. So, we opened the drinks.

Honestly, it tasted just like a strawberry smoothie. My daughter, after a few sips, was certain it wasn’t slush; it wasn’t even cold and had a milky taste with no hint of passionfruit. My husband took one of the drinks to the counter to ask if it contained milk. The staff at the counter confirmed that their slushes do have milk. We requested a new passionfruit slush without milk, and finally, we got a drink that looked and tasted like a proper passionfruit slush with pearls. (Honestly, this is not our first time ordering the same drink from the same restaurant) If the first waitress had admitted the mistake and promptly given us the correct drinks, the issue would have been resolved quickly. Instead, she and the other staff continued to insist that the strange drink was passionfruit slush, creating unnecessary confusion and frustration. I used to love this place because of their good food and service. I don’t usually do google reviews but I just wanted to share my experience and how i feel very disappointed with this place. I always go here whenever i crave for pho, it was my first visit this year. I usually come here with my friend but when I asked her to go with me she declined because she said the last time we went there staff were very rude and unfriendly. I didnt mind, i still went. Friday at 2:40 pm, i went there by myself. The lady just gave me the usual; water, chopsticks, spoon, napkins, bean sprouts and all that stuff. I placed my order, gave my food and ever since then they never bothered to ask me anything anymore not even a refill of water. Here’s the funny part, my bill was $24.90 i gave a $50 cash and the change they gave me was a $20 bill and $5 change. Do they expect me to give them a tip with that shitty service? This isn’t the first time they did this, they were also rude when I went here with my friend. Which makes me so upset. My husband and I frequented this restaurant often, about once a week despite very poor service (my go-to fast pregnancy food) and unfortunately this last experience has been one to ruin pho for a long time for us. My husband and I always ordered the same beginners style pho as we aren't the super adventurous with our meats..When we ordered, my husband received this super oily, fishy broth that wasn't the same as our usual or even mine that day and inside was this mystery "meat" that was pure fat and no meat at all. Clumps of chunky fat that made him gag at the texture alone and when we right away said it wasn't the right order, they simply removed the meat and gave it back to us which we also picked chunks of those the previous same "meat" so not only did they give us the completely wrong order, but they were SO CHEAP that they couldn't even give us a fresh bowl of what we initially asked for - AND on top of that, she argued with us that we ordered something different (as regulars we know we did not!!) and still made us pay full price despite not eating his portion. We will not be back at this establishment as the poor service was bad enough (good luck getting a water refill) but this was just unacceptable.
