BBQ King Delight — Restaurant in Surrey

Tried their Roasted Crispy Skin Pork today. Taste is good, meat is tender and moist. Price is a little bit pricey, i.e. $14.95/lbs. But still consider worth it, because its hard to get this kind of food in Surrey except in T&T or in chinese restaurants.

I will come back again next time for their BBQ Pork. Highly recommend

Update Mar 25,2023:. Went to get their BBQ Pork (1 lbs), taste is good, meat is tender and juicy. I hope that they can put the bbq sauce separately in a small container instead of on the BBQ pork because the sauce is all spilled out when the box is accidentally tilt.

Next time you guys remember to tell them not to put the sauce on the bbq pork or else you will ended up with no sauce on your bbq pork.

This shop will be my favourite shop in future and I do recommend you guys to try it.

This is a gem that has been around for years. Located on the corner of 152nd and Fraser Highway the complex is a bit difficult to get to depending on the direction of travel. Our go to use to be Hen Long or T&T but this is our new spot. The offer a wide variety of BBQ meats such as the traditional duck, chicken, bbq pork, roasted crispy pork. They also have a wide variety of marinated items as well, though some not for the faint of hear but we love to eat everything.

We got the crispy pork, bbq duck, pig stomach, pig ear, pork bung, and marinated duck wings. All of which were delicious and flavorful. The marinate is slightly different than those at Hen Long but we actually prefer this. It had a much more subtle flavor without overpowering with soya sauce. Lovely owners, roast pork and bbq duck is better than Sanhao but definitely not up to par with Parker place or even HK BBQ Master in Richmond; the BBQ duck is very close though. Prices are fair, portions on the combos are ok but if you have a rice cooker and don't mind frying some vegetables just get the meats.

*came back Aug 2020 after moving away - A-game on the crispy skin roast pork; grazing away at it all afternoon and the skin was still crisp by the evening. Fatty, but not overly so - and so tender. Insides were seasoned well for the salt-kick, but that was it, the rest of the meat had neutral salt. I wonder if they had a lechon up on the hook that day?

Probably not a coincidence since the bbq duck continued to be fantastic also. Crispy skin, fat rendered, meat moist and not overcooked.
