I recently visited Gourmet Donuts & Coffee in Langley, and I have to say, this place truly deserves its reputation as one of the best local spots for fresh donuts. From the moment I walked in, the smell of freshly baked pastries filled the air, and it immediately felt like a cozy, family-owned cafĆ©. Unlike the big chains that push out overly sweet, mass-produced donuts, this place focuses on freshness, quality, and variety. The donuts here are fantastic. Soft, fluffy, and made daily, they taste like the kind of treat youād expect from a classic neighborhood bakery. My personal favorite was the apple fritter ā it had the perfect balance of crisp edges, a slightly sticky glaze, and a soft, warm center. I also tried the dulce de lecheāfilled donut, which was rich, creamy, and unlike anything youāll find at a typical coffee chain. Other classics like the honey dip and cinnamon bun were also excellent, proving that they can do both traditional and creative flavors very well. The coffee is simple but solid ā strong enough to pair perfectly with the donuts without overpowering them. Itās not a āfancyā cafĆ© with latte art or dozens of syrups, but itās exactly what you want when grabbing a donut: hot, smooth, and fresh. They also have options for those who prefer almond or oat milk, which is a nice touch. Prices are very fair, especially considering the quality and freshness. For just a few dollars, you get a donut that tastes ten times better than the ones sold at most chains. The value here is unbeatable, and Iād even say itās one of the best donut deals in the Lower Mainland. The staff were friendly and efficient, even during the busy morning rush. Itās clear they care about their customers, and the service adds to the welcoming, community-oriented vibe. Overall, Gourmet Donuts & Coffee is a gem. If you love donuts, this is a place worth driving across town for. Just be sure to come early in the day, because the best flavors tend to sell out quickly. This is easily one of my top...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI'd go out of my way for Lee's Donuts, particularly my favourite honey dip and apple fritter...but no longer! As of 11 AM this morning, Gourmet Donuts & Coffee is my new go-to for these classics, and more! Tucked behind Petro-Canada just east of Fraser Hwy and 152nd St, the unassuming storefront hides a cornucopia of donut flavours (including my faves). The texture makes all the difference, and first impressions did not disappoint! I had brought a half-dozen ($13.50) to work, and after my first taste, my only disappointment was realizing I'd actually have to share š . Bonus: Location! Their Fleetwood shop is in the heart of Surrey, and conveniently walking distance from home. Suffice to say, I'll be working from home more often and logging more steps as I get my weekly/daily donut fix from Gourmet Donuts...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIf I can make a suggestion from a customer who wants to spend money at your establishment. This is coming from a former successful family bakery owner for many years. My gf and I have come in a few times lately around 4pm near close and we are finding our favorite donuts are all gone but u still have a large quantity of the donuts that are obviously not popular. Please make double of ur good sellers and half of the poor sellers. This will increase your sales lol. Like the long Johns , maple etc etc. U should know this as the owner. Looking forward to buying donuts at 4pm instead of turning around walking out...
