Ruben's Restaurant — Restaurant in Surrey

I always come to visit at least once a week to eat authentic pinoy foods like those found back home in street carinderia's. They serve Filipino foods that are the classic favorites of pinoys like adobo, tinola, pinakbet, lechon kawali, mongo, pritong isda, dinuguan, laing, sinigang and many others. They taste like my mothers cooking making me crave for it every time I can. They are conveniently located along Frazer Highway right in front of Honda Dealership but parking is sometimes not adequate because of the small space at the back of the establishment which is shared with other stores. They also caters to your needs like birthdays, anniversary, christening, parties and all other special occasions. Most of the time staff are friendly but they seldom smile but the food makes up for their shortcoming. Washroom is clean but it is shared for both men and women. This is one of the better filipino restaurant in Surrey and a must visit for us...

This used to be a dine-in 🍛Filipino restaurant that has improved their recipe through the years.. the food is fast, quick & decent = COMFORT FOOD☺️

Today the establishment is only take-out.

Recently this restaurant has some changes so it seems.. 🤔(a long letter from management found by the till) a bit lengthy in my opinion.. Basically explaining their cut backs👩‍🍳

Did ordered online with 3 weeks prior my baby’s first birthday celebration. It’s actually my first time to try their food. But my aunt is so adamant to order the foods here which I did . And GLADLY, I listened!!! They even help you plan out. Expectations were met, exceeds even because almost the dishes are gone. Not even the visitors brought home some. They just enjoyed the dinner we ordered. What surprises me most is the the lechon kawali and crispy pata. ( I didn’t buy lechon because we don’t have space in case it won’t be eaten all so I ordered this as alternative ) with 4lechon kawali and 3criapy pata, it feeds 12-15 people with a medium pancit, medium chopsuey, small tray adobo, small tray dinuguan , kutsinta .
