A nice evening with some yum food, good service and beautiful ambience. Live Music that was sweet and soft. Very friendly staff and quite quick service. We enjoyed every item that we had ordered. Surf & Turf (Shrimps, scallops and sirloin with mashed potato and veggies) , Pesto pasta and Daniel's Special Burger with Poutine were our order with some orange and apple juice. Wonder why their menu was missing any white sauce pastas :( Tasty and filling food. Quantity seemed quite decent. Might be a perfect joint for a group of friends who would want to have some drinks, eat, chat and laugh...

Blink and you might miss out on this place(we nearly did) as you stroll along. So make sure you put it into google maps and find it…you won’t be sorry. Superb service and excellent beer. It was quite early when we got there and the sun (in this part of the world) hadn’t yet sailed over the yardarm so we chose the gentle approach with the Breton Light Lager..clean, refreshing and full of flavour.i Wonderfully friendly and welcoming and another great find on our travels. (No review of the food because as usual we didn’t eat any but plenty of others did and looked delicious)

Spacious, clean, and welcoming venue. The atmosphere is good for live music, with a reasonably well-equipped stage. The architecture is a bit dated and could use a modern update. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the service is good and accurate. The lady who served me was very helpful and cheerful, which was truly appreciated. The food is good, and the ingredients are fresh. I'd revisit the salmon presentation, which is a bit old-fashioned. A placethatdefinitely deserves anothervisitto enjoythelarge selectionof beers. .

I have been to Daniel's for their jazz concerts. Great music, and OK service at a busy time of day. A few weeks ago, I dropped in on a Thursday evening around 7:00 pm. Just wanted a snack and a beer after work. I sat at the front where it was quiet. Waited a long time, but could not see any wait staff. Finally, I walked back to the bar to let the waiter know that I was seated near the front door, and had not been served yet. He said he would be with me, as soon as possible. I returned to my seat and waited, and waited, and WAITED! When he finally appeared with a menu, I realized that he was alone to take care of the entire room!!! Not his fault, but rather the management's fault, AND THAT MEANS BAD MANAGEMENT!!! I waited some more, and when it was clear that he would not be able to get back to me on the foreseeable future, I got up and left!!! Total time wasted? 25 minutes! Inconvenience for me, and a lost customer for you. I will...

UPDATED Honestly, since our bad experience, we’ve been back again and it honestly was great. Maybe just a one off, or they did something about it. Either ways, keep up the good work.

We are never going there again! The bouncer lets us in and says we can have a table for 9! We paid our cover to get in, and then the waitress said, that's not going to be possible, he then pointed to tables overlooking Charlotte (back next to the entrance door) and thinks you can combine those tables. That’s not possible because they are screwed to the wall, and they only seat four people. So he wanted us to grab five chairs and squeeze them tight. Anyways, he wouldn't give us our cover back and said: “you’ve entered the establishment. These are the rules”! We left for Triangle, and I swore never to go back there again. Good luck lying to people...

Absolutely incredible place. Best pub food you'll buy. The highlight was the spiked strawberry lemonade - non-alcoholic version available on request - which tasted like everything a strawberry milkshake should be. Our hostess, Karen - who bares the name proudly - was kind, friendly and frankly, a riot. The only fault I could find with the place was the large portions - no one was able to finish their meal. A pity, but the leftovers will be divine.

Overall, this is a lovely place. Very quiet on a Tuesday night. This would be a fantastic place to catch up with old friends or make new ones - if you're in the area, you should definitely try it. Also, someone give Karen a raise,...
