Absolutely amazing food and service! The crew is very nice and the food is fantastic. I always order The Beef Broccoli Special (chicken balls, chicken fried rice, beef broccoli, eggroll, and a fortune cookie) with no MSG to go. The chicken balls are perfectly cooked, and the sauce on them is amazing and sweet, the chicken fried rice is fantastic, especially with the plum sauce that comes with it, the beef broccoli is absolutely wonderful and tastes amazing (it contains perfectly cooked beef, onions, and broccoli in a sause of some kind), the eggrolls are filled to the brim and very delicious, especially when topped with or dipped into the plum sauce that comes with the meal, and the fortune cookies, while most likely not made-in-house, still taste fantastic and have cool fortunes inside with lucky numbers at the bottom. Their prices are quite reasonable for the quality of food you're given as well. I definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for the best Chinese food in Cape Breton. The food was okay but the two of us were rushed out, they brought the cheque half way through the meal and the restaurant was basically empty, only 3 other couples. It was very rude and welcoming. It was 3:30 pm and not close to closing. On top of this it was super humid in there and the other patrons were asking for them to turn on the AC, they turned it on for maybe 10 mins. And then it was humid again and everyone sweated through their meal, thankfully I and my acquaintance were close to the door and had some relief. Gave 2 stars as at least my food was okay, they added extra sauce on the burnt chicken balls, that my friend half ate. My mum and dad used to go here quite a bit while I was a kid, and they loved the food. 30 years later, I find myself going here when I want really good American Chinese food. The sweet and sour chicken ball sauce is the best. The deep red colouring is not normal, so they either do their own or modify an existing. Either way, it is absolutely delicious. I find their ribs are not the best but the sauce is great. Their rice has an unbelievable smokey taste and one of the best rices I have ever had. The chow mein is also very good.
