Location: Not too far outside the village of Tadoussac. They have a small parking area, but folk park on the side of the road when it's full.

The place: So, this is a food truck - but there are tables outside so you can eat there or take your stuff to go.

The food: SO GOOD. In fact, during our 2.5 day stay, we went twice! Our first visit was after a 6-hour drive so we were famished. My friend and I both ordered the poutine and it was awesome. The fries weren't greasy, they were generous with the fromage and the gravy was perfect. Gravy is key to making a good poutine. Our second meal involved club sandwiches with a side of fries; again, the fries were great and the club sandwich was excellent. They offer a good variety of other eats too, like burgers, grilled cheese and hot dogs.

Service: Good.

Price point: I can't remember the exact prices but they were pretty decent, especially when compared to some of the other restaurants in the village.

I'll be back next year when they reopen for the...

Totally delicious, fresh and well made burgers and poutines. Can definitely recommend to refuel after a hike up the Mont Adéla-Lessard.

We got the poutine with onion and sausage, frites sauce (i.e with gravy) and the burger Connaisseur. Good selection of drinks for a food truck as well.

Service was very friendly and we got our food after 10 min. Everything very fresh, well prepared and well packaged for takeout.

Next time I hope we can try...

Comfort food, directly available from the side of the road. Open during COVID but for takeout only. You have access to outdoor picnic tables nearby, so make sure you are covered enough, it gets windy. Tasty hotdogs, I would recommend the "Connaisseur" one, filled with amazing stuff.

I guess we read a lot of great reviews and overhyped this place. We were disappointed when we finally got to eat here. The large poutine wasn't really that big and was pretty expensive. The fries tasted like regular frozen fries, the cheese was cold and sauce not hot enough. The cheese hardly melted at all. On a positive note, My son had a cheeseburger and said it was really good.

Really good food truck casse-croûte with a lot of seating options! They have unique products like their original poutine sauce and maple mayo that they sell right there. The poutines are really good, and my sister loved her guedille--she said the bun was amazing. A great place to stop and fulfill your junk food cravings. Had a clean bathroom on site, which is a nice bonus.
