This listing, and my review, is for the overnight lodging, not the restaurant; other reviewers should move their reviews to the separate restaurant listing. My husband and I have been coming to Tadoussac for many years. Never have we enjoyed our lodging as much as Studio 1 at Le Bateau. Not only is it clean, spacious, thoughtfully furnished and completely comfortable, it is perfectly located with a spectacular view over the town and bay. We could see beluga whales swimming by in the distance while we had our breakfasts. We could easily walk anywhere in town for groceries, restaurants, or sight-seeing/whale-watching excursions, museums and beautiful trails. We had a designated parking place at the entrance to the lodging, a bonus in a busy tourist town. I don't want to say too much or I will never be able to get a reservation again once the secret is out, but the owners deserve to be promoted; it's a true gem of a place to stay. A...

Tiny shrimps and tiny scallops, both tasteless. Don't know what the other "mer" ingredient was - possibly reconstituted fish in the form of a crab stick but no fish flavour or texture. All covered in a tasteless gelatinous sauce. Horrible. Obviously complained and there was a huddle of waitress, manager and chef which we assumed would result in no charge, a discount or complimentary drinks. But no, not even an apology. My friend said his pizza was OK but it looked dry, overcooked and uninteresting...
