Limoges 67 SteakHouse — Restaurant in Terrebonne

We recently celebrated our wedding anniversary here with family, and sadly, it turned out to be a huge disappointment. After a week, we still can't get over how the experience went, which is why we feel compelled to leave this review.

Food – The food was acceptable in taste, but for the high price, the portions were far too small. To make matters worse, they charge extra for sauces. We waited an incredibly long time for our food, despite the restaurant being mostly empty. Honestly, for what we paid, we expected much more.

Service – While our waiter was friendly at first, the mood drastically changed when it came time to pay. He demanded we leave a minimum of 15% in tips, as if we were obligated. This was completely unacceptable and left a bad taste in our mouths, spoiling what should have been a special evening.

Atmosphere – The restaurant appears larger and more inviting in photos, but in reality, it's cramped and quite small. Some of the pictures online are misleading, with certain images showing the store next door, separated only by a flimsy partition.

I would give them 5 stars for food and the entire atmosphere!! But a huge disappointment regarding the billing! Adding the tip automatically into the bill is like sticking your hand in someone's pocket!! 1 star for that! Is a common practice in US but a first in the last 13 years in Canada!! I didn't look at the total bill as the evening was very nice! I just look the total, paid it together with another tip without being told that a 18% (approximately) was already added into the bill!! Huge disappointment!!

Unique situation you say? I really doubt that!! There are people like me not even realizing that the bill is like that and that's just because they've enjoyed their evening! I would like to say we ordered the cowboy steak that was written 130$ on the menu but got charged 150$ on the bill … i asked upfront what vegetables it comes with he told me eggplant tomato & zucchini however when I got the plate I had 3 shallots & Edemame . I find it quite deceiving if you can’t offer me what Is supposed to be included that you don’t warn me to I can have a nice side dish or veggies to fill me up. He told me the tomato were too ripped but don’t you have a market next door you can pick up something fresh or Toss in some asparagus or something filling to complete my plate Better than onions & soy beans .. maybe at least a brocoli or a heads up so I order some asparagus ?
