Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in The Grange

I've visited several Papa John's Pizza in my life, it's generally okay. But, I never had such horrible product and horrible service as I experienced at the location on Winterburn Rd. in West Edmonton on the evening of February 17, 2016. This is a newer location and I received coupons in the mail and decided it would be a great night for some pizza. The coupons were "Online Only," so my roommate and I decided to drive to the store and we would place the order online when we arrived. I went into the store with my coupon and placed the order; Large Specialty "The Meats" on thin crust with no Canadian Bacon and a free kids 10" pepperoni & bacon pizza. I did this twice in front of a large woman who acted like a store manager, I believe her name was Sarbina. When the order arrived at the store from the website, it didn't include the free kids 10" pizza. I showed the manager the coupon, I showed her how I could order it on the website using my phone - She told me "If it doesn't print, I can't make it!" She had a really poor attitude about the situation and made me feel like it was my problem and not hers. I had to ask her several times to call the store franchisee or a person who was able to make decisions for approval. Once the call was made, it was approved and she had a very negative attitude towards me and when I paid for my order, I tried to engage her in conversation and she would not respond and didn't even thank me for my order. My roommate then ordered two orders of wings, she was also unpleasant to him and didn't thank him for for his purchase either. Together we spent over $40,00 and were not treated like a valued customer. This woman then vanished to the back of the store and my order was put together by a polite young lady that was working. I should have checked the pizza before I left the store, when I arrived home and opened the box, I was totally disappointed with the product. Both pizzas were more crust than anything. The other disappointment was the $19.00 worth of wings - they were VERY small and about half the size of the wings at Panago. Given the attitude of the manager and food quality, I can't say I will ever go back to this...

Go to any other Papa Johns, but not this one. The pizza is good every now and then but when they mess up the order they go to extreme lengths to argue with you to let you know that it's not their fault and that's how it's supposed to be. Not once did I ever ask for a refund or a replacement pizza and not once did I ever get one. That's not the problem, but they cannot accept the fact that they can make errors. The last straw came when the pizza had a couple strands of hair on it. I'd had the pizza for a couple hours at that point and came across the hair when I got to that slice. They argued and even implied that I had taken the time to put my hair on the pizza and baked it so that it was under the cheese. This is despite me sending photos to prove it and the hair being brown when I have black hair. They said that they will no longer serve me due to my amount of complaints. Complaints that were due to their error and complaints that were just some critcism due to them not having the pizza well done when I asked it to be. In no way did I haggle out any extra services from them. Their defense was that I didn't tip their driver when he came back to deliver the right Pepsi since I had incorrectly gotten Diet Pepsi delivered to me. They said that their driver depends on tips and that I was disrespectful, in that case maybe they should pay their drivers more so that they get a proper amount of money rather than live off of the chance that a few of their customers might be generous enough to help them obtain the money that the establishment should be giving them. I would recommend you go to the Papa Johns at 14030a 23 Ave NW, Edmonton, AB T6R 3L6 as they have excellent pizza and service, sadly they don't deliver this far away or I would've gladly used their...

Boarder Line Abuse Towards Employees!

Ordered in advance and showed up to pick up at the pick up time at the Winterburn Edmonton location and and still waited 20 min with no apologies from the woman at the counter . While waiting the female employee (either Manager or Owner behind the counter) screamed at another employee for being late in front of customers and other employees and continued on for over 5 min.
