Cronos Cafe — Restaurant in Thunder Bay

I went to Cronos Cafe for the first time in a long time. The atmosphere of the restaurant is very warm and cozy which made the experience better. However, I feel that there could be small improvements to enhance the overall experience. The food was very tasty, and everything seemed to be fresh. The service was good (I wouldn’t say great) but we felt that there was an underlying feeling of being rushed. We finished our meal at 7:30, and while the restaurant closed at 8, we were not asked if we wanted coffee or dessert. I was also surprised to see that they did not have any alcohol on the menu. A selection of a white and red wine and a few different types of beers would have added to my experience. Also, the restaurant has odd hours (4-8) Wednesday to Saturday. I don’t know of too many people who eat dinner or lunch at 4pm. I would say that they do need to allow people to finish their meals without the sense of feeling rushed out the door. I also noticed that a woman came in it at 7:20 and they refused her service which I felt was odd as they said they closed their kitchen at 7:20 which was 40 minutes...

This place is absolutely disgusting the food is terrible my whole family spit it out during the first bite. The customer service is horrible they were so rude and racist to my family, we have never tried a food place that was so awful I highly suggest that you don’t wast your time on this disgusting spot and the food prices are insane they charge $6 for 12 burnt fries and the salad is so bland and they use pre made bottled dressing. Overall worst place we have ever tried and once again the lady who did are food and took are order is so unbelievably rude and should not...

So good! Came here because the wait at a different Greek restaurant was taking to long and did not regret it. The service was fast and friendly. I had a pita with pesto and feta on it. The pesto was made fresh and was delicious. I also had a Greek salad with chicken which was great too, lots of feta and a good amount of lemon in the dressing. My husband had a chicken souvlaki wrap which he devoured. He had fries on the side which were clearly freshly made when we ordered. I would come here often, maybe too often, if I lived in town....
