Tim Hortons — Restaurant in Thunder Bay

I love going to this Tim Hortons during the week. I stop here every morning and the ladies working the drive thru and the manager are always so pleasant, kind and the service is quite fast.

I will no longer be coming to the this Tim Hortons on the weekend. The service is very slow. I usually stop by after the gym on Saturday and Sunday around 10/11 AM. The line up is usually very long both the drive thru and inside. Today when I went (Saturday, August 12, 2023 at 2:15 PM). My husband ordered 20 timbits and a coffee. The order was mixed up on the drive thru and they only gave him 10. When my husband corrected the order the drive thru employee charged him for a second 10 of timbits (instead of the 20 timbits which is a bit cheaper). My husband went inside to let the staff know and the staff were extremely rude (specifically a younger/teenaged white male). Who said to my husband “I don’t see what the problem is, you ordered 20 timbits and got 20 timbits”. I am so disappointed in the service on the weekend. I have nothing but outstanding things to say about the staff who work Monday-Friday AM but I will not be coming on...

If you have all the time in the world to waste, go to this Tim Hortons, because speed is something they don't focus on. Nor do they focus on getting your order correct. I went in to order a Sausage Farmers wrap meal, with a Medium Dark Roast Double Double and a Medium Caramel Cold Brew Coffee. The wrap was fine, considering when I got there they had no eggs, but by the time I got to order (second person in line) they had their eggs again. However, they didn't even put the hash brown in its wrapper, they just threw the hash brown into the bag with the farmers wrap and no napkins. Now, for the drinks... Cause the Medium Dark Roast isn't a Dark roast, nor a Double double. And the Cold Brew tastes like watered down sugar, there isn't even any coffee in it! The drinks were not labelled, and the girl serving us, didn't even know what drinks where what to serve to the customers... Let alone, there were 8 employees on the floor, and still took forever to make the orders, and not even complete them properly.. I won't be going back to this...

Ordered two large coffees with two cream in each! I repeated it twice! I was very congenial! I even said please and thank you! I just finished a twelve hour shift and had a hour drive to get home! It was early morning (3:15am) and I drove away with my coffees turning onto Maple Ward Road. I was looking forward to that delicious cup of cafe!? Well, I was surprised by the taste of artificial sugar! It tasted terrible as my wife also reiterated! (gross) Being diabetic I was quite concerned as to what I had just ingested! Needless to say I was quite perturbed! This has happened before at local coffee shops! In all cases by young servers who are relatively new to the job market! I think Tim Horton's should stress to their employees the importance of listening to the orders and the ramifications of their negligence in not filling the order properly!
