I try to give places the benefit of the doubt as I know its just a bunch of kids that work there. However, this is my sixth visit in a row and the service has been abysmal. The quality of drink is decent but the amount of time it takes for a black coffee to be poured should not take 15 minutes. I've witnessed other people wait patiently for upwards of 20 minutes for their drinks. How is that even possible. Stop taking peoples orders until you catch up. But of course you want to take the order so that people hand over their $$$. Who cares if they wait after that. The items were paid for and thats all that matters to Starbucks. The same goes for the drive through. It's so evidently transparent that the business model is to prioritize the drive through its laughable. Even so expect to wait in like for 15-25 minutes because the "barista" wants to ask about your day. stop asking about my day when there are 10 cars behind me in line. Go help your coworkers. Its getting embarrassing...
Read moreI was just at the drive-thru and was told they no longer offer lactose-free milk. While disappointing, that in itself is not an issue. However, while waiting at the window, I used my vape as I have in the past. Another worker (not the one handling my order) came to the window and abruptly yelled that vaping or smoking is not allowed in the drive-thru. I completely understand and respect that policy, but the way it was said was unnecessarily rude and unprofessional.
When I calmly replied, “That’s okay,” she snapped back with, “What did you say?” I repeated politely, and she rolled her eyes before walking away. The tone and attitude made it clear she was intentionally being dismissive.
I have no problem following the rules, but there’s no reason for staff to speak to customers that way. Unfortunately, this Starbucks location has consistently shown unkind service, and I won’t be returning. The Starbucks inside Safeway on Arthur Street has friendlier staff and still offers...
Read moreNever seen such a disorganized Starbucks, waited 15 minutes (subsequently left without coffee) for a black coffee. This was for pick-up, but I noticed the vehicle I would’ve been behind was long past through. This isn’t a first, but will be the last, the Safeway down the street is a much better option. Kinda a joke of a location, and symbolic of very poor management. This isn’t a Starbucks problem, it’s this location specifically. Do better, I pay a premium for your coffee, don’t need the snark...
