Over 1 week ago, I posted here regarding the 241 pizza location at Islington and Dixon. I mentioned that I noticed that one of the workers did not wash her hands after handling the money at the cash register and attempted to pull out the fresh dough with her bare dirty hands. I stopped her and got her to wash her hands.
The owner responded here... and stated, " he would get the new joinee to go through the processes."
That response in itself sent red flags... because NEITHER of these 2 females are "new joinees" that have been employed there for a very long time. That tells me that you, the owner, attempted to look for a fast excuse in order to excuse that behavior.
Nonetheless, working with food EVERYONE should know to wash their hands.
Well let's fast forward, myself and a friend decided to go into the same location last week, WOULD YOU ALL BELIEVE THAT WHEN I WALKED IN THE OTHER FEMALE THIS TIME, WAS STANDING THERE WITH ONE HAND IN THE DOUGH ROLLING IT BACK AND FOURTH ( BARE HANDS) AND HOLDING HER CELL PHONE IN THE OTHER HAND WHILE TALKING OVER THE FOOD AND LAUGHING?
Listen, I could not believe my eyes!! I felt this would be so hard to believe, so I took a photo of her! After she finally stopped talking on her damn cell phone, she proceeded to use BOTH hands BARE HANDED in the dough.
Pause. Do you all realize how dirty a person's personal cell phone is??!?!? Oh my goodness, I've had it with this location, and I'll be reporting you all to Public Health and providing the evidence. Evidently, you all do not take this seriously. I will not be patronizing this location again and will be advising everyone I know also against ordering from here.
I left without ordering any food, I was so enraged.
There is bacterial contamination. Failure to wash your hands can transfer this to the food!!!!!
Viral transmission can linger on unwashed hands!
Etc, etc etc
This is now a public health concern. You all work in a food industry and should know better. Period. This ongoing conduct can cause severe consequences for individuals consuming the food you are making.
Maintaining proper hand hygiene is CRUCIAL for food safety and preventing the spread of illnesses.
Shame on you all. Evidently, you think this is some...

I have been ordering from here for a couple years and was always happy with the quality.
Last night they literally sent he a burnt pizza. I mean BLACK and BURNT.
WHO in their right mind puts a burnt pizza in a box and sends it to a customer?
When I called the customer service line, the woman was extremely rude and told me she could only give me a $6 credit (when I paid $12 for this pizza). The other option was to wait another 30 mins and return the entire burnt pizza. I explained that I had company over and we already TRIED to eat some of it.
I complained to the head office, and was supposed to hear back from a customer service rep "shortly." Still waiting for that call.
My family and I have ordered from 241 for many, many years. But after this experience I will not be ordering from ANY location, ever.
DISGUSTING customer service and downright...
Read moreI have ordered 241 pizza many times and had a few hits/ misses. I'm reading through other customer reviews and recognize that some issues require immediate resolutions. For instance, I'm extremely critical of hygiene, especially when it pertains to our food preparation establishments. 241 Pizza must do better business. It's unacceptable for employees to be playing around when preparing food. This means NOT idling with smartphones (dirty), NOT touching unclean surfaces/ items such as fiat bank notes, cash registers, receipts, door knobs, garbage, hair, other body parts, etc, without properly washing hands before making contact with the food. Gloves are a definite requirement and should be mandatory. I enjoy 241 pizza and would encourage the owners of each franchise to implement these changes ASAP....
