I am an avid Starbucks drinker and I have had the pleasure of visiting many different Starbucks locations across Toronto. I visited this location on Feb 15 after waiting in line the lady serving the people ahead of me seemed to be nice. It got to my turn and for some reason I didn’t get the usual ‘greeting’ it’s like I sensed some sort of hostility when I approached the counter. Anyways I ordered my drink paid for it and waited. After I got my drink I went back to my car and drove off. After taking a sip of my drink I realized there was mistake... I have been ordering the same drink for years and I know my drink! When I returned to the Starbucks I approached the counter and advised of the mistake. Instead of apologizing or atleast acknowledging the fact I had to leave and come back because I received the wrong drink the staff member started questioning if I knew what drink I ordered and the person who made my drink ‘doesn’t make mistakes’. I advised anyone could make a mistake and I even told her she can taste the drink if she thinks I’m lying.
I have spoken to a few other people about my experience and we all have had similar issues with this one location. The staff are not as pleasant and even if a mistake happens they question you instead of correcting their mistake. I am not sure if this attitude is geared towards certain ‘people’ or if it’s just the fact they are just rude.

Read moreUpdated: I have visited 3 different Starbucks since this incident and the price remained the same at all of them. Not one other location charged for steamed cream. Seems the policy only applied to this location. Terrible customer experience .
Original post: I have been visiting this location for years and my order has always been the same. An Americano with a bit of steamed heavy cream (less than an inch, not a Misto). Same coffee, same price everytime. I had even visited earlier in the day for that exact same coffee.
I visited again in the afternoon, literally a few hours later and I was advised that I would need to be charged for my steamed heavy cream as it was new policy (new in the last few hours I guess). Now two employees are arguing with me about how they have to charge putting lots of effort into upsetting the customer instead of appeasing them.
Then another employee emerges from the back and says no we don't charge if it's less than 1 inch. To which both of the other employees argued with her now. All to not give a customer some steamed milk. Not even an apology, they actually persisted after having been proven wrong by a more competent employee

Read moreIm here to share an horrible experience with this location today I came in made my order with RJAY sat down for few minutes then went to ask for my order. This girl ABBY very loud and arrogante dismayed me when I was asking for my order but ironically Mocking me saying there is no order for me I reached then the cashier RJAY and asked where is my order? She then comes in saying "I can't talk to them like this" Like this how? I was politely and calmly asking him So, he did not know either! Then he said he forgot to punch In the end of my order I asked: what does that mean? He said I wasn't charged for my order Then I took my phone and showed him the debit in my account! So, lying right on my face! Or???? Unbelievable!!! Also the music in this location is so loud that I couldn't hear what the person I was having a tea was saying most of the times!!
