The Banh Cuon is ok. The Banh Beo is nothing like the picture and they put bean sprout on top of Banh Beo??? I asked the waitress and I got the rudest reply. She pointed her finger at the small prints on bottom left corner of the menu and said “ the pictures are for illustrations only!” WTH???

Updated: First of all, I’m Vietnamese and I cook Vietnamese foods and I know WHAT BANH BEO IS. Secondly, the waitress wasn’t polite when she talked and had a smirky smile on her face. Thirdly, I do speak English for living in Canada for 40 years so STOP BULLYING the Vietnamese people for not speaking/reading English. Lastly, it’s not a nice thing for you, NEW OWNER of the restaurant, not to apologize and smoothing things out with the customer in order to improve your FOOD AND SERVICE, but had decided to come back at the customer. PLEASE you are doing business so learn how to keep your customer happy in a...

I really wanted to like this place after the new ownership, but my favourite dish (duck bamboo noodle soup) fell rather flat. The duck was a bit tough, but the noodles were unacceptable. One order had really undercooked noodles and another had overcooked mushy noodles. The broth itself is still pretty good.

Edit: I wasn't going to update to address their lies, but this popped up again from Google and I noticed that the owner thinks they're so clever by clapping back at negative reviews. It comes off as extremely petty and childish. They need to learn how proper businesses deal with negative reviews.

As for my experience, we definitely did NOT eat everything, not even close. We ordered more than we could eat in order to try different things. Are you going to "check your CCTV" and double down on your lie? I have hundreds of reviews, with the vast majority being positive and gain...

Our most favourite Vietnamese restaurant!!! Their “banh cuon” is so smooth and so Vietnamese. Other than that, “Bun Bo Hue” is the 2nd “must try” here. One of my friend is picky on Bun Bo Hue but she has recognized that this is the best Bun Bo Hue in town, even better than other famous restaurants. And you know what, the price is so reasonable, not to say it’s so cheap even in this economic crisis.

The sugar cane juice is so fresh and “green”. They should get more than 5 stars for the service. I hope their business is running well and even better as they’re deserved it.

Strongly support for this local restaurant because of their food quality and...

Ordering catering for party on New Year’s, the owner made a huge portion of Vietnamese fried chicken with fish sauce for me. With an excellent experience when trying the fried chicken, I loved the bold flavour of the sauce and the meat it blends. On top of that, garlic flakes which combined and brought the dish to another level. I also had a chance to order a tray of ‘Banh cuon’ which freshly made in less than an hour before the time I picked up, got tastes amazingly with fish sauce and side dishes included. Highly recommended for anyone who want to try this hidden gem surrounding the Junxtion area

A hidden gem!!! First restaurant that I’ve found in Toronto that specialized in banh cuon! Such a pleasant surprise when I also saw they had freshly pressed sugar cane juice too!! Their food is absolutely delicious, I loved the banh cuon, I wish I had ordered multiple plates but instead we opted for a bowl of bun mam and bun bo hue. I think this place specializes in Hue region food! The bun bo hue was amazing but I’d skip on the bun mam. Honestly I would come back just for the sugar cane juice! Definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for Vietnamese noms!
