I came there yesterday with my daughter who uses a stroller. To get in, I had to tip the stroller back because the store is about 4 to 5 inches above the ground. I ordered a bubble tea, put it in my stroller and headed out the store. So because I had to tip the stroller to get in, I had to tip it downwards to leave. WHILE LEAVING, THE BUBBLE TEA FELL OUT THE STROLLER! The two ladies that work there saw what happened and were only concerned with how the outside of their store looked with my bubble tea spilled on the concrete. The lady, who I believe is the owner, got two buckets of water to clean the mess. I waited and asked her if she was gonna replace my drink and she kept saying, “it’s not my fault, it’s not my fault. If I spilled it, it would be my fault.” Whether or not it was her fault, she showed no empathy nor customer service. If there was a ramp or the ground was properly leveled to the store and the bubble tea fell, I’d gladly take the blame! I WAS SHOCKED AT THEIR LACK OF EMPATHY AND ANGER TOWARDS ME! That was my first and last time going there! If you’re looking for customer service, this place ain’t it! If you use a wheelchair, this place isn’t accessible! If you have a child who uses a stroller, be prepared to tip or lift...
Read moreI went out of my way to buy two sandwiches before starting my long day on campus. I got the assorted meat and satay chicken. I ate the assorted meat as soon as I walked out of the store and found it to be incredibly delicious. I normally don't like sandwiches or anything that's bread, but I enjoyed the sandwich here a lot. The bread was toasted so it was crisp when I ate the assorted meat. I kind of wanted more filling at first but as I kept eating I found the filling to bread ratio perfect. The assorted meat was enough. It would be too salty otherwise.
For the chicken satay sandwich, I ate it on campus. About 3 hours later and it was still pretty good. The bread was a bit too dry for me already but I enjoyed it. A lot of chicken, but unfortunately too spicy for me.
I would most likely come back for more assorted ham sandwiches. This shop is a bit out of my way during my commute, but personally I would make the time to pass by and pick up a couple of sandwiches again.
Shop itself was kind of cluttered with boxes and stuff when I entered (9:30am). It reminded me of a NYC bodega or something. Not that big of an issue. I found the products fascinating. However I was just there for...
Read moreFinding this place was a bit tricky because of the layout of the strip mall. This little gem is located facing the Weston Rd side.
We ordered the beef satay, chicken satay and assorted meats. The flavors were on point, if you like it spicy look no further. However, in the future perhaps add more meat in the beef satay and chicken satay.
As for pricing $6 for assorted and $7 for the beef and chicken satay is reasonable.
This place is really clean and the lady who served us was really friendly.
I will be returning back in the future for sure and I will ask them to add more ingredients to fill up the bun.
Free parking is available on the weston rd and around the building. Remember the place is located on the...
