It was my first time and I left quite disappointed. I tried the Ferraro rocher donut and it tasted a little bit stale but also just like a plain chocolate donut. It wasn’t even a rich chocolate flavour and I couldn’t taste any hazelnut at all (which you’d expect with a rocher flavour). I almost didn’t want to finish it because it wasn’t satisfying. I ordered a blueberry lemon fritter to take to a friend I was visiting later. I was on the phone with her and she said “take a bite to try and if it’s really good then bring more.” So I took a bite and almost threw up: it had a sour expired flavour (like spoiled milk??) that was very overwhelming. I couldn’t taste blueberry or lemon. I reluctantly asked the staff for a replacement and they offered me a new one “at no charge”. The staff suggested the sour flavour was from the lemon but it was a sour dairy flavour definitely not from the lemon. I tried a bite in front of them and the new one didn’t taste as sour (I asked for one from a different tray/batch) but still had a terrible aftertaste. I downloaded the rewards app before paying and got a free coffee which was a basic brewed coffee, also lacking in flavour. Somehow the coffee didn’t wake me up like a coffee would usually and I felt very tired after. My stomach feels heavy and unpleasant after eating that donut and 2 small fritter bites. It was not an enjoyable treat at all. I threw out the replacement fritter after that 1 bite. It was just under $11 for the donut and fritter - extremely pricey for the lack of flavour or quality. I was thrilled to find a local bakery that can accommodate so many dietary restrictions but it completely missed the...

I am incredibly disappointed in Bloomer's. While the food is yummy and I have supported this business for many years, I was left heartbroken and completely beside myself when the bakery screwed up my kid's birthday cupcakes. I specifically requested green vanilla icing on top of chocolate raspberry cupcakes. The bakery added pink icing and told me multiple times that it cannot do green icing. Then, it went on to explain that mixing raspberry icing with green food colouring would turn it brown or gray. I NEVER requested raspberry icing! I ordered online weeks before I needed the cupcakes and the order confirmation very clearly outlines what I asked for. If this wasn't possible, someone should have called or emailed me to offer me a refund or another option. Based on an email conversation with the owner the other day, it's clear that she still does not understand what the issue is as she sent screenshots of me agreeing to vanilla (which I NEVER disputed). I was always fine with vanilla. That's what I wanted! I asked the bakery to make it right and to deliver the cupcakes early the next day to avoid disappointing my kid; however, it refused to make the cupcakes the way the order states and they said I had to go back to pick them up, something I have no time for, nor should I have to since it was their fault. I do not recommend Bloomer's for any custom orders. Not only did they get it wrong, they refused to make it right and I was left without cupcakes for my kid's birthday. That's unacceptable and a proper company would have made this right. I will never order from here again. They ruined such a...

There’s apparently quite a few of these bloomers donut shops around the city. Supposedly this has been in the mall for years but I didn’t notice. Staff is ver very nice but alas the pricing is pretty insane. 3 to 4 dollars for a single donut is crazy . It seems they have some unique flavors like pistachio glaze but for me this store belongs in Hazleton lanes. I guess everything in this mall is nuts price wise but I was floored by the cost per donut. I felt bad for the young woman there all alone mid day so I bought two donuts. Around $8 for two donuts, chocolate and honey glaze. Even worse is the cashless system that prompts you if you want to give a tip before you pay. That’s pretty sad they can’t pay their employee a reasonable wage given the product price and then end up expecting to give tips on top of the high prices. It’s a donut shop. The donut is good and not greasy but really nothing earth shattering. For the very rare treat this is ok and I guess cheaper than a cake from pusateris in the same mall but I’m a value guy and this place smacks of bougie gouging. If you’re a rich vegan donut fan then you’re in luck. Clearly lots love this place given the number of locations but I’d only go back since the staff...

Hubby and I walked in while strolling the mall. I had heard of Bloomer’s before but this would be our first time trying. Slightly skeptical of the vegan doughnuts, but decided to give them a go. We were happy we did. They were large, airy, sweet and fresh. Hubby loved the cinnamon sugar so much that he got another. The birthday cake hit the spot; it was perfectly sweet and oh so delicious. So good, that I decided to get a second doughnut; Rose Pistachio by recommendation of the server. Sad to say it wasn’t it for me. The rose flavour was way too overpowering for me, and the pistachio barely made an appearance other than the green specs on top. I went back in to give some feedback and I’d been told that “yeah I should have told you, the rose is very strong, most people love it or hate it”. Needless to say I landed with the latter group. Overall we enjoyed the doughnuts enough to look forward to the next doughnut craving. Also, we grabbed two iced americanos. They were good, nothing special, a little too watery for my taste. Overall we enjoyed our experience.

This is such a great spot for a terrific variety of doughnuts, especially for those with dairy and egg allergies. Even our nut-allergic family members had many options and enjoyed their doughnuts without adverse reactions, meaning they do a careful job of separating allergenic ingredients at their shop. 👏 Many of the filled ones are a bit too sweet for our palate, but the flavors are otherwise great! We tried the London Fog, Boston Cream, Ferrero Rocher, and strawberry Nutella filled ones and they were all quite sweet. The London Fog was the favorite because of the milder sweetness level and fragrant tea aroma coming through. The others we tried were tiramisu, peanut butter cup, maple walnut, butter pecan and strawberry shortcake and all of those were pretty good as well. 🍩 I want to go back to snag the raspberry pistachio cheesecake filled doughnut and some bagels before we leave town since our first takeout experience was such a good one! I didn't try them, but they have vegan croissants!
