A REWARDS Program!! Inquire within!!

Finally managed to check this place out. A Hidden GEM!!!! An absolute stellar menu. Lots of choices for every tastebud out there. Beers come in massive cold Mugs. A massive plus!!! Started with the Butter Chicken poutine.... wow wow wow!!! A starter size. Could easily be a full plate for one. The flavours were out of this world. Tons of curds melted proper and the blend of herbs on top made this one hell of a dish. Main of Fish n Chips. Out of this world. The mushy peas, along with pan seared peas, top notch. Fish cooked to perfection. Wonderful crisp on the batter, and a nice light thin coating of batter. Only way to make this dish 100% serve with a small serving of malt vinegar in a tiny bowl to sprinkle, to finish it off when served. Service second to none. Wonderful server greeted us upon arrival and showed at the table at proper timing. Wonderful to chat with the owner and the master behind the menu. This man knows how to present food, and how to prep food. Been around the world working in many different places and his many years in the kitchen, certainly show on his plates. Can't wait to come back and try many many more offerings on the Menu!.

Update: Back for seconds. And WOW. Again out of this world dining. Had the Butter Chicken. Sweet Merciful.... outstanding. If you want it a bit more spicy they add Fresh Green Chili's. Not the dried stuff. Perfect without the added spice but if that's your thing go for it. The BBQ Beef Pulled Short Rib sandwich. Served on a beauty piece of Bread. Plenty of Meat and lovely toppings. A burst of flavour in every bite. I had commented that on their set Dinner menu was a Cream Mushroom soup. Was dying to try it. Figured next time but the owner brought out a small sample. Wow wow wow, hands down the Best Mushroom soup I've had.

Update:

Added to our tastings. The lamb kebab. Wow!!! Lovely salad meat n veggies. Cooked to perfection. Wonderful flavours. The potatoe kale and leek soup. Wow!!! Fantastic. A fall requirement. Warms the bones. Outstanding flavours!!

Thank you for a lovely afternoon on the Patio with stellar...

I recently dined at Cheffry’s Artisanal Bistro on Davenport with a group of eight, and while there were some positives, overall the experience left a lot to be desired.

The food itself wasn’t bad—the flavors were decent and the dishes had potential—but the service was extremely slow and disorganized. For a table of eight, we waited close to an hour for our meals to arrive, and during that time there were multiple errors with orders. It gave the impression that the restaurant wasn’t properly managed or staffed, which was surprising given that the place was not busy at all. With such a small number of diners in the restaurant, we expected more attentiveness and efficiency.

Another concern was the atmosphere. The space felt empty, lacking energy, and it didn’t seem to match the character of the surrounding neighborhood. Davenport has a casual, lively vibe, and this concept feels out of step. The restaurant is clearly trying to position itself as upscale, but the execution doesn’t quite land, and it leaves a mismatch between what the area wants and what’s being offered.

Pricing was also an issue. For the quality and experience provided, the menu feels overpriced. When you’re waiting an hour for your food and dealing with repeated mistakes, it’s hard to justify premium prices. On top of that, the menu itself could use more attention—it feels limited and not particularly innovative, which makes the high price point stand out even more.

It’s always tough to see a local restaurant struggle, and I genuinely wish Cheffry’s the best. However, unless the service improves drastically, the menu is refined, and the concept is adjusted to better fit the neighborhood, I don’t see this location continuing successfully. With the right changes, there’s potential here, but as it stands, the experience just doesn’t match what diners in this area are...

TLDR: We walked out, horrible service, zero recovery, wasted an hour of our Friday night, this place is a joke.

Friday night, 615pm, the place isn’t packed at all. Service is amateur and horrible. Our server didn’t bother making eye contact or come by to take our order when we’re clearly ready. We also had to wave her over for a drink refill. She did, however, went over to ALL the tables around us with children several times to chat with them, even when the parents didn’t call her over, LOL OK. 🥴

The table next to us came in 10 mins after, and had their full meal while we’re still waiting for our appetizer. 45 mins later, our food was potentially delivered to the wrong table (we overheard another table saying no, it’s not us, we have eaten LOL), and the server sent our orders back to the kitchen. At this point NO ONE came over. We’re sitting two tables down, no food, and it’s like she didn’t see us 😱!!

We paid for our drinks and walked out. The server didn’t bother making eye contact at all, and the manager didn’t even apologize or try to salvage the situation. What an absolute waste of time.

The bartender though, was spot on. He was very helpful and tended to our bill (i mean, he knew our drinks needed a refill BEFORE the server came back to us the second time).

We live around the corner and really wanted to support this new restaurant in the hood. Terrible first impression, and everyone is acting like it’s their first day on the job 🥴The highlight our our visit was the bartender — tip...
