First time to dine-in, came from Ottawa for a quick lunch, we came with empty stomach obviously, friends says they have the best Batchoy which husband liked it. I ordered bangsilog, disappointment start, they run out of bangus so alternate choice daing bisugo (fried dried fish). And the lumpia sariwa :* batchoy is okay the daing is so dried and rubbery, the fried rice that comes with it tasted burnt, I guess they used the rice from the bottom of the pot.
I should've said something but I think the hunger came before I even said something, I was fighting with the fish while eating it. But to.my surprise when I came and paid, I said something to the lady that served us, but she didn't even recognized what the problem with the food, she could've offered some discount but NO!!! She even touched the pile of dried fish on the food counter but didn''t said anything at all. We picked up our plate, wipe the table and left. Just disappointed and not happy with the eevice and food. There's always other place but not coming back on the future.
Sorry not...
Read moreSaw the advertisement on instagrams about this place and I said let me give it a try. Went on a Saturday around lunch time for take out. The front entrance is not welcoming at all the inside of the place is also not inviting at all.
I said to myself maybe the food is great as indicated on some reviews. Got number 1 combo which consist of rice and 1 dish. I got beef calgareta and large Goto. The calgareta is just ok for my taste. Tasted more delicious or better than that. The Goto which I am more excited, is just blah. No taste and doesn’t taste Goto at all as it has chicken and just a couple of tripes. It roasted garlic on top that’s about.
Will I go back again. The answer is NO. Will I recommend it? See...
Read moreI don’t usually write bad reviews but since I was so excited to try to this place only to be disappointed 😢 I feel like it’s necessary to let my disappointment known. I came here 2 days ago and the special batchoy soup has an after taste I can’t explain it wasn’t so comforting as I expected and we also got kare kare which we weren’t told it’s pork. As far as I know kare kare are supposed to be beef or oxtail unless it’s bagnet style kare kare. I feel cheated because we weren’t told it’s pork. ( what if I don’t eat pork? ) We came here excited and came out disappointed and was still hungry. I will never try this place again and I’m sorry for bad reviews. I feel will also help your restaurant...
