I recently visited CurbsideDogs with high hopes of enjoying a quick and tasty meal. Unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired, tarnished by an aspect that should never be tolerated in any establishment: the presence of an unwelcoming and insensitive staff.

From the moment I stepped foot into the restaurant, an uncomfortable tension hung in the air. The interactions with the employees were plagued with subtle undertones of bias and insensitivity, leaving me feeling disheartened. It's a shame that such a promising eatery has staff members who fail to uphold the basic principles of inclusivity and respect.

The menu offered a wide variety of choices, showcasing the potential for a satisfying meal. However, it was challenging to fully appreciate the flavors as the negative energy surrounding the establishment distracted from the dining experience. It is truly disappointing when the actions of a few cast a shadow over an otherwise pleasant meal.

Despite the issues with the staff, I must acknowledge the food itself. The dishes were prepared adequately and presented with a degree of care. The flavors were decent, albeit overshadowed by the overwhelming disappointment of encountering a passive-aggressive atmosphere.

While I would like to give CurbsideDogs the benefit of the doubt, I cannot ignore the significant impact that a toxic environment can have on a customer's overall experience. It is my hope that the management takes this review constructively and addresses the glaring issue at hand. The potential for this establishment to provide a remarkable dining experience is undeniably there, but it must be accompanied by a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere.

In conclusion, my visit to CurbsideDogs left me with mixed emotions. It's disheartening to encounter a fast food establishment with potential, only to be let down by an unfriendly staff. I hope that my experience serves as a catalyst for positive change, encouraging the management to address the issue promptly. I came to eat at this food truck today. I ordered a 3-piece chicken meal with fries, coleslaw, and a drink. We waited about 10 minutes, and then a girl brought out our order.

As soon as we opened the box, we saw that everything was completely overcooked. The chicken looked burnt and tasted horrible — dry, flavorless, and with a nasty aftertaste. The fries were the same — overcooked to the point they were hard and crunchy like chips. The coleslaw was just disgusting — it was floating in some weird, watery liquid. We couldn’t even try it.

The food was so bad that we couldn’t eat it. I went back to ask for a refund because this was unacceptable. The girl started arguing, saying they don’t give refunds. After a long back and forth, she gave me $5 back. I told her I paid $16 and I wanted the full amount. I barely touched the food.

She kept complaining, but eventually gave me $10. When I asked why not the full amount, she said $6 was for the Pepsi — even though the menu says Pepsi costs $3.50. That’s just ridiculous.

So I paid $16, couldn’t eat the food, and only got $10 back — after an argument. This is the worst food I’ve ever been served from a food truck.

Terrible food. Terrible service. Total rip-off. Stay away from this...

YUM! Delicious food, great service :) (First time customer) Ordered a Chicken Shawarma Sausage with fries & a bottled drink. It was definitely loaded with toppings: diced turnips, pickles, hummus, garlic sauce, & pico de gallo.

Fries were extra tasty! Found out they're fresh cut potatoes (skin on) blanched in oil first, then fried nice and crisp! Sooo good :) Ketchup is supplied in a mini plastic cup with lid & napkins given.

Lady at the cash was very pleasant & friendly! Food was ready very fast! Though there was no line at that moment.

Picnic table seating area, with umbrellas, was clean & in order. It was shaded by the nearby trees, at the time I was there.

Found out they accept Google Pay, good to know for future purchases. I feel the pricing to be reasonable/affordable, especially considering it's a popular waterside location.

I really like the overall menu variety, and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Scarborough Bluffs Park, Marina, & Beach areas.
