Loved it. It has a funky smell when you walk in (literally sandwiched between what appears to be a time warp: an adult video store w/ viewing booths and an 80s latin nightclub... what the hell), but that's where the critique ends. The owners are amazing. The lady who takes your order also makes your dishes. That may seem trivial, but its a quality that these chains and franchises are sorely missing.

The breakfast was perfect. Its rare that i return a completely empty plate, because lets face it, these breakfast places forgot how to handle potatos these days and its common to leave some of those "home fries" on the plate. Not here. Nope. There was not an edible thing remaining on those dishes. The home fries made me a kid again. Bacon and eggs is bacon and eggs, but you go home and try to replicate those fries. Goooooood luck. 1 star deducted for the stinky, whatever that is... the place is clean though, and the decor is like a movie...

Why is this restaurant number #1 it has all the levels of purpose to what great food is and should be by far. The restaurant provides classic levels of styles, cooking is absolutely delicious period! Guests that visit can not argue that this restaurant is not a 100% percent awesome because it is! The service is wonderful I always leave full, health and smiling. All throughout my middle school to high school to college and university years I have been eating here!! Love the place! I believe ever guest should experience excellence in food, service and smile this restaurant has above the level of delicious cuisine year round! I have nothing but blessings and love from them! You have to love the aesthetic of places like this. Its definetly a relic which has remained unchanged for probably at least the last 50 years save for the music in the tableside jukeboxes which look to have last been updated in the late 80s. Fewer and fewer places like this left, and you get a sense of stepping back in time when you dine here.

Food was cooked great for my liking. Its not fancy, but a filling and great valued breakfast. Just what you need to get you fueled up for the day.

It is owned and operated by an elderly couple who I suspect have been running it for a long time. They are very friendly, hard working and courteous.
