Only the Vietnamese who do not know how to cook would eat at this The food is mediocre to begin with and they have Zero customer service. The first time they brought out to our table the wrong dish which was missing the main ingredient that I had ordered. They did not bother to apologize and were acting dumb, expecting us to eat it the way it was. Again, we came there the second time only to experience the Rudeness and Bad Attitude from the woman who is the owner's relative, was in charge at the time. We asked the waitress why they did not put enough the toping when it was supposed to be what we had asked for. That woman jumped in and started talking down on us saying that with the price they charge the dish had to be that way. And then she went on saying their pricing is the cheapest in Toronto and we had to pay more money for the dish to be fixed. It is not about the money, dimwit! It is about Customer Service. Instead of listening to the customer to rectify the issue this dimwit started rambling on about how much it costs the restaurant to make that dish. That woman is apparently dumbfounded, having no education in customer service to be working in customer service industry. The amount of rudeness and arrogance from the staff of this restaurant is unbelievable.
This kind of low level of service can only exist in North York where most of their customers are non-Vietnamese who have no idea how proper Vietnamese dishes are supposed to be. In Toronto there are so many Vietnamese restaurants. This place is one of the worst ones. This place not only has mediocre, bland dishes but it also tops up the amount of lacking customer service. It feels very ghetto.
Do not waste your time and money at this place. Go to one of the best restaurants in Toronto such as Phở Linh on College Street. Their Pho bowl is only at $8. You will get fresh store made noodles on site and free run chicken meat in your bowl. There are so many other great dishes as well to try out. The restaurant there is always busy but the staff are friendly, courteous.
Phở Mì Asia, Get your niece some basic education before putting that woman in charge of the business. The woman probably did not finish grade 5th in Vietnam. She does not have any communication skills. She is...
Read moreI like their pho so I decided to go there after my surgery on Eid day to treat myself. However, due to my surgery I wasn’t able to eat much so my sister had to share my food with me. First the lady (the one with lots of makeup - she’s been brought up in the reviews before and I’m not surprised now) pushed me to get a large serving even though I told her I wasn’t able to eat much. Nonetheless, she kept rushing us so I agreed on the large. I told her it was for dine in but she walked away didn’t bother seating us. So we found the nearest table possible and had a seat. A few minutes later she brought our food for takeout. I asked her why and she said you can’t share food here so it would have to be takeout. This is something she did not mention earlier and kinda pushed us to leave. I asked her again to accommodate us this one time because I just had surgery and I can’t eat much. However, she started mumbling and walked back to the kitchen with the food. And brought us two bowls of food - a large serving which could easily serve two people (which is why I didn’t want to get a large anyway). Anyhow, she walks away without asking about tea or water or anything. We’re sat there confused and then we hear the ladies snickering while looking at us. At this point my sister felt too uncomfortable and asked me if we could leave. So I say yes, and ask them for containers so we can pack our food and leave. She tells us it’s $1 per container. So my sister pays for 2 - which I’ve never seen happen anywhere else. Most pho places don’t require you to pay for takeout boxes. And even while leaving we share our concern with another lady and while we’re talking to her she starts walking away.
A part of us felt like they were treating us differently because of our cultural dressing - because they were taking care of everyone else just fine. It felt really disheartening to go somewhere to have a nice evening out with your sister after such a traumatic experience of your life to end up being treated like this. Will never go...
Read moreThis was the worst service we have ever received at a restaurant. Please do not dine here. The staff were rude and the customer service was terrible.
The sign indicated that they close at 11 PM. We arrived at 10:20 PM. The waitress immediately started rushing us to order. We were three adults with two children, and we were still getting the children settled in their seats when the waitress demanded we order right away. I started scanning the menu, which was hard to read, since it was our first time there. The waitress abruptly handed me a paper and pen, saying, "Faster, faster, we are closing."
I ordered a pho and a grilled chicken, then asked how many people the fried rice would serve. Instead of answering, she added it to our order. I told her to cancel the fried rice and change it to grilled pork. My wife and I were frustrated with the waitress's attitude. We considered canceling the order, but it had already been sent to the kitchen.
The food was served quickly. When they brought the pho, we asked for two more bowls as they had only given us two. The waitress suggested we use the two small soup bowls we already had, but we insisted on additional bowls for our children. She then served the grilled chicken and pork. We knew these were single servings, but we wanted to share, so we requested four small plates. The waitress refused, suggesting we use bowls instead. I said I would prefer a refund and leave if they wanted to close early. They informed us there was no option for a refund.
We continued eating, and around 10:45 PM, the waitress asked if we were almost done because they needed to leave by 11 PM. Why state a closing time of 11 PM if you want customers out by 10:45 PM? We finished at 10:55 PM, and the cashier remarked, "Wow, exactly 11 PM."
If you want to close early, then close at 3 PM. Don’t accept customers only to rush them. Better yet, close your store...
