I went to this store a few days ago and the food was good and so was the service, BUT. There is no seating area and the store is extremely crowded, not with people but with the size of the store itself. There is also no air conditioning. And the heat is wild. Which leads me to my next point, that being; when the air around a place that handles food and other edible substance is undesirably heated it raises the chances of the environment being more likely to produce harmful bacteria and insects. The place itself is like a tiny container. The kitchen needs fresh air to flow through, and so does the foods in the glass. And it’s is only common knowledge that flour produces insects when kept in an over-heated environment. When you walk in, you can’t walk even like 11-12 steps without running out of space. And I think that whoever runs the place should use the money they get from their bakery to buy or rent a bigger environment for their business. But other than that everything...

This place is a hidden gem on dufferin and eglinton. I read some reviews and I need to clarify this is NOT a cafe where you can sit, it is just a bakery where you buy to-go pastries! Amazing service! I love Barbara she is so sweet and chef moises is a European chef with amazing talent. They make the most delicious low sugar desserts and you don’t even notice that it’s low sugar! They also make savoury foods such as pizza, siopao, quiche. For all the Filipinos they sell pandesal for a good price!! I am so happy I found them! They also make custom cakes! If you want specific pastries you will have to call in advance as they make everything fresh and do not leave food out to waste!

Also try the cheese tart and coconut tart. These are the best cheese tarts...

I called in and the lady confirmed my order then put me on a 10 minute hold. I called now because she said it’ll be ready around 12PM and the person who picked up told me he can’t make a buttercream cake because the temperature is so cold…..then the line disconnected and keeps going to voicemail.
