So Full-A-Flavour Kitchen has good food. It is the only Jamaican restaurant on Midland Ave in south Scarborough and it lives up to its name. I ordered a small Fried Chicken with Rice and Peas and Curry Goat gravy. The chicken was very well seasoned and the meat dripped from the bone. The curry goat gravy was literally full-of-flavor and had my tastebuds happy as can be. The rice and peas were a little soft and did not have a lot of coconut … the peas were soft. The atmosphere is festive. The murals on the walls show the owners pride in being a part of the City of Toronto and his roots coming from Jamaica. He took the time to tell me about his community back home as well as his love and passion for cooking. There is a lot of free parking in the parking lot in front of the store. It is wheel chair accessible. Located just north of Eglinton this restaurant is convenient for people who live nearby.

Full-A-Flava replaced the previously well-renowned Jamaica Stamp. These were big shoes to fill and the owner, Melbourne, has done an excellent job doing so. The food is top tier and the name rings true because the food is truly full of flavour. Melbourne also provides excellent friendly customer service. Also, there is no “wi nuh have dat” here. There is always plenty of variety available. Check them out!

My boyfriend and I LOVED this place! The worker(or owner?) was incredibly kind and friendly, we felt right at home. The food is exactly as advertised if not better, it was delectable and clearly made with love and care. The meat was flavourful and juicy. For the quantity and quality the price is great. This was our first time eating Jamaican cuisine and we can’t wait to come back again and again!

Scarborough just got a little more flavorful with the arrival of a new Jamaican restaurant that’s already making waves for its authentic Caribbean cuisine. If you’ve been searching for the best Jamaican food in Scarborough, look no further—this hidden gem delivers the real deal. I recently visited and tried their stew pork, and let me tell you—it was an unforgettable experience.

From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted with warm island vibes. The aroma of jerk seasoning, pimento, thyme, and slow-simmered meats filled the air and instantly transported me to a Jamaican grandmother’s kitchen. It’s clear this spot is run by people who know and love traditional Jamaican cooking.

Now let’s talk about that stew pork.

This dish was everything you want it to be: tender, juicy, rich in flavor, and cooked to perfection. The meat fell apart effortlessly, coated in a thick, dark gravy that was a perfect balance of savory, spicy, and slightly sweet. You could tell it had been slow-cooked for hours with fresh ingredients—garlic, scotch bonnet, ginger, browning, and fresh herbs all playing their part to create a deeply layered flavor profile.

Served with a generous helping of rice and peas, fried plantain, and steamed vegetables, the portion size was hearty and satisfying. The rice and peas were fluffy and fragrant with coconut milk and allspice, pairing perfectly with the richness of the pork. Every bite was a reminder that this wasn’t fast food—it was soul food.

Why You Should Visit:

Authentic Jamaican flavors just like back home

Fresh, high-quality ingredients

Reasonable prices for large portions

Friendly and welcoming staff

Clean, cozy atmosphere with island vibes

Whether you're a Jamaican food connoisseur or new to the cuisine, this place is setting a high standard for Caribbean restaurants in Scarborough. They’ve nailed the balance between traditional flavor and modern presentation, and it’s clear they’re passionate about bringing real Jamaican food to the city.

Final Verdict: This spot is hands down one of the best places for Jamaican stew pork in Scarborough. I’ll definitely be back to try the jerk chicken, oxtail, and curry goat next. If you’re in the area, do yourself a favor and drop by—you’ll be leaving...

Well as a true lifelong connoisseur of Jamaican cuisine with a specific taste for JERK CHICKEN, which I have dined on throughout Jamaica and locally, I can assure you that Melbourne is absolutely top shelf delicious and fresh Make it a plan to stop by. Say hello and try some of this talent from Jamaica.

My Family tied his Jerk Chicken with the best we found in Montego Bay and yes. Better than the best in NEGRIL. Footnote: we visited Mo Bay and Negril this past February for 10 days. Trip #5 in the last 2 years. All to BEAUTIFUL...
