Hero Certified Burgers — Restaurant in Toronto

I went to this location a couple of months ago with my husband. I had been to multiple Hero Burger locations, but I have never had such a HORRIBLE experience in my life. The cashier and the cook were EXTREMELY rude! I tried to calm down about my experience and thought it would get better and I wouldn't be as mad, but I did not feel better. First off I upgraded to sweet potato fries and they didn't give me the sauce. I went up and nicely asked them for the sweet potato sauce and they said that it would cost me. I said "but I upgraded to sweet potato fries and it should be included. I've been to many Hero burgers and they have never charged me extra, because I upgraded." They called me a liar and said "we have never seen you here before!" I said, "not at this location, but at other locations they don't charge." They said, "well that's too bad, we are charging." I said ok, then I went to sit down and finish eating with my husband. You would think that would be the end of it, but no. They went on to make fun of me and say in another language "look at how she's acting for having to pay for sauce, ahahahha."Joke was on them, because my husband and I understood what they were saying. I told them that I would complain and give them a bad review. AVOID THIS LOCATION!! They are the rudest people I have ever met and have ZERO...

I did not experience the best customer service here. I asked for a signature combo and as I was about to ask for a different side and add another topping to my burger, the lady taking my order kept interrupting me saying "is that all?" I was clearly not done stating my order and there was no line behind me for her to rush through my order. She did not even ask any follow up questions to make sure if I was satisfied with my order. Instead I was given attitude and was not even able to ask for sauce to go with my chicken fingers. It felt like she was being condescending and kept laughing with the cooks, making me uncomfortable as if they were laughing at me because they kept staring my way. For all I know, they could've already spat in my food without me knowing. However, that was not all; When I received my order my chicken fingers were undercooked and my burger was overcooked. I've never experienced this in other franchises, this is the first. I spent a good $20 only to receive disappointment. After reading through several other reviews, it seems this isn't only happening to me. Do better! This needs to stop! Keep your employees in check and if they're not, they shouldn't be working in customer service in the first place. I wish I asked for a refund but they made me feel too uncomfortable. Worst service I have ever seen!! My order number was number 3 and they just passed my order to make number 4! Even number 10 got their food and I was still waiting for my poutine!! I asked the lady who was called out the number why you calling number 10 I’m still waiting for my number 3 and she just ignored me! Hello? I am your customer too! I asked again where is my food and they let me to wait for a second. After 5 minutes they were running to number 15 but I still didn’t get my food. So I asked them to refund me I don’t want it anymore, they got my order ready immediately....
