iHalo Krunch offers a refreshing treat in cool colours and friendly service. I visited with my friends for a treat on a hot and humid day. I could easily identify the place, as it used a consistent colour scheme of black and pink, from the signage and the neon sign underneath it, to the interior walls, which looked like strawberry ice cream with chocolate syrup drizzled on top, and even to the outside bench. Inside, it was a no-frills setup, with a counter, ice cream machines behind it, and a fridge for take-outs. There was a large sign showing flavours. I had mixed feelings about some flavour options being scratched off for their new Hojicha flavour. I felt they should have had a separate sign for such things. The server was very approachable and eager to help. She basically said any combination could be done. I tried Black on Black, which was black coconut-flavoured charcoal ice cream, in a cup. The staff efficiently served my ice cream. I liked that paper towels were easily accessible. The ice cream was sweet and refreshing. I didn't know how activated charcoal would taste, but I could definitely taste the sweet, creamy coconut. One thing I noted was that despite it being not very hot outside (23 degrees), the ice cream started melting pretty quickly, making a mess for both of my friends who ordered ice cream in a cone. I chose the cup, so it didn't make a mess. Overall, my first visit to iHalo Krunch was positive. I thought the ice cream melted quickly, but the overall flavour and the experience of visiting the shop were good. If I am in the area, I would consider visiting again to try their...

iHalo Krunch ice cream is very tasty and delicious. But this particular store really ruins the experience of this treat. The guy who works at the store is friendly, but doesn't have any respect for the customers. The store was supposed to open at 1pm. I arrived at 12:50 and decided to wait. During my waiting time, I found it very weird how I wasn't seeing anyone in the store interior to do any prep for it to open. At 1:02pm I saw the guy popping out from a car that was already parked at the front of the store when I arrived. He entered the store and asked for more 10 minutes to get everything ready for us. We waited patiently again, even though we were already disappointed as he saw the line forming out of the store. He officially opened the store at 1:15pm and I was finally ready to order. I asked for the strawberry nut flavour. After testing the cream he mentioned it still wasn't ready, as it was already melting as soon as it came out of the machine. He mentioned I would need to wait for more 10 minutes to get my ice cream. As we were very disappointed with the whole experience, that only happened because the guy didn't get the store ready for opening, we walked to the Baskin & Robins in the next block and got my ice cream with an unbelievably nice person. This iHalo store has no respect to their customers. This is the third time I go to this store and experience this kind of disregard for customers.

Huge lines, people thinking the store will be open on time and then having to wait even longer due to the cream not...

A warm summer is the best excuse to visit Toronto and indulge in delicious new desserts! Celebrating the grand opening of iHaloKrunch's new store in Danforth (602 Danforth Ave, Toronto, ON M4K 1R1), I went down to try their acclaimed Asian ice cream flavors. Refreshing and innovative, with a dash of bubbly, iHaloKrunch's ice cream, boba, and milkshakes are possibly the best part of my spur-of-the-moment visits to Toronto!

We were offered a sample of two different flavors in crunchy waffle cones! The first one, manganut ice cream, was a delightful swirl of ube-flavored ice cream, charcoal-coconut ice cream, and vegan mango ice cream - with the tropical flavors of coconut and mango bringing out the ube flavors, this cone was heavenly sweet and absolutely delicious! Made only better with the second rainbow cone, which mixed the charcoal-coconut, ube, and mango flavors with a dollop of vanilla ice cream, the vibrant cones were truly the highlight of my day!

Should you find yourself in the Danforth area craving a good ice cream, milkshake, or boba, the new location of iHaloKrunch is sure to satisfy your cravings! Gorgeous swirls and delicious flavors - you're gonna have the time of your life here! Highly recommended!
