Viva Mexico Ca... nadienses! Sinaloa factory is a unique place, 5 stars is an understatement.

How to explaining it? New dishes with traditional flavors?... Mexican-Maki fusion? In the words of Don Adrian, they deconstruct traditional Mexican food and Japanese maki to get new dishes, new textures and great flavors. IMHO they nailed!

I ordered a SUSHICHARRON and loved it. Basically a maki with green salsa pork rinds, breaded with panko, fried, topped with cheese on a bed of delicious salsa: Crunchy, chewy, dancing flavors. OMG! You have to tried it to believe it. You won't regret this choice. They bring you different salsas, spicy and non-spicy but all of them tasty.

I tried my friend's MALVERDE ROLL and it was delish. I mean, I was trying to get some flaw and I couldn't. I am not expert but I know my food. Come on, you have to try for yourself.

The decor is also inviting, as a Mexican makes you feel nostalgic and proud, as a non-Mexican is intriguing, colorful and even educating. I enjoyed the portraits of Mexican idols and stars adorning the walls. At the back wall you will find a proud coat of arms of the Sinaloa state. Not everything there is drug kingpins. Plenty of tradition to share. Banda and tambora music among other things.

Service is in charge of a dedicated and friendly team of young people, warm and welcoming. Do not hesitate in asking for recommendations or any question you may have. They DO care and will make you feel at home. Our server was Jessica, a super nice lady whom recommendations were spot on. You have to try CAFÉ DE OLLA with your dessert. We had PASTEL DE TRES LECHES, three-milks cake. Please note the dishes have to be prepared on the spot, not pre-made or out-of-the-box. It takes a bit more time for your meal to arrive than average but it's worth, if you are in a hurry better go to McDonald's.

I noticed a lot of Asian customers, I guess they were intrigued by these crazy makis and they seemed to love them as well. Located on Danforth and Carlaw, on the Greektown, they may seem to be out of place but believe me, this is the place where you want to be. Try the Mexican makis, any of them, you won't regret it.

karaoke is on Friday evening and now and then they will have especial events, inquiry about them.

My girlfriend and I went here for my birthday dinner and it was a waste of time. The server originally told us it would take 25 minute to get our food but it actually took 1 hour and 1/2. In that time, with the abundance of servers they had, not one checked in on us to see if we needed anything. It was only until 5 minutes before the sushi came out that someone apologised for the time it took to receive the food. When the food finally came, it was mediocre at best. 100% not worth the time we waited. On top of that, please save your curiosity from trying the Cheetos sushi. It tasted like rubber and did a number on my stomach. To top it all off, within seconds of declaring that we were done between ourselves, the server came rushing over to ask if we wanted the bill (she only asked me and never even acknowledged my girlfriend). When she bought the bill over, she assumed I’d pay because I was the guy (even though my girlfriend was set to pay as it was my birthday but she never got the chance as the server forced the machine down my throat).

In conclusion, this place has a great idea for food but has no idea how to operate a restaurant. It took 90 minutes for them to serve us food but only 5 minutes to boot us out after we were done. The food quality was horrible as we could have had a $10 California roll from a gas station and it’d be better than the $53 meal we had. To top it all off, the sexist mentality it displayed was far less than...

If you're craving an authentic taste of Mexico’s Pacific Coast, Sinaloa Factory on Danforth is the place to be. The vibe is casual yet stylish, with a cool, beachy atmosphere that instantly makes you feel at home. You’ll get a taste of Sinaloa’s laid-back charm with modern décor mixed with traditional touches.

The service is top-notch—friendly, fast, and always with a smile. They make sure you feel well taken care of, offering a true 4 star experience from start to finish.

As for the food, it’s amazing. The tacos and ceviches are packed with fresh, bold flavors, but what really sets this place apart is their sushi—it's not your typical sushi. The combination of Mexican ingredients and sushi techniques gives you a whole new take on this dish, making it a must-try. Plus, they’ve got a solid range of traditional Mexican dishes, so whether you're in the mood for something familiar or looking to try something new, they've got you covered.

For pregnant women, they also offer cooked ceviche, so you can enjoy it without any worries.

One thing I'd recommend to make the experience even better would be to swap out the reggaeton for some traditional Mexican music. It would really add to the overall vibe and give you a full, immersive experience of...

Dropped by for dinner. Had a beverage while we waited for our food. Each dish is hand prepared when ordered so it is expected to take longer than the food kept warm under lamps. Between us we tried the SushiCharron roll (pork chicharron, jalapeño and cream cheese wrapped in melted mozza…. And the necessary seaweed and rice for sushi) on a bed of salsa verse. The mozza and cream cheese managed to wash out some of the flavour. Had we known we would have offset it with some hot sauces. The best dish was the Sushinagda Madge roll. Plantains, bacon, shrimp and bacon wrapped in mozza and dried fruit (w/ seaweed and rice… naturally) served over some homemade mole sauce. Filling, tasty and each mouthful has different flavours coming through. Staff were friendly and accommodating for all of our questions. Great place - Obviously proud of the Mexican Culture with many portraits and bios of amazing folks. If you go.. make sure you are hungry.. those rolls will fill you up!!

Came here for the first time and was curious about their Mexican sushi. I ordered the vegetarian mush roll and my partner got one that was recommended by the waitress, the guamuchilito roll. We also ordered a Jamaica drink as they were sadly out of horchata. The sushi were interesting and tasty. The dishes both came with a green chili pepper that was soaked in soy sauce and some cold sautéed onions that also seemed to be soaked in soy sauce. And a container of more soy sauce for dipping the sushi. I felt that there was a missed opportunity to add other flavours than soy sauce. Something tangy like pico de gallo or pickled ginger would have been a better complement. Also it would’ve been nice if we could pick small portions of different types of sushi instead of only choosing a large roll, like what most sushi restaurants would offer. The ambiance was really nice, with lovely decor and Mexican music. The waitresses were very helpful and friendly as well.
