KFC — Restaurant in Toronto

Horrible wait times, horrible service, food is good. Both times I’ve been, I waited over an hour and twenty minutes for only a few items.

First order was excusable, the KFC was freshly built and only recently in service, and it was quite a bit of food. Understandable, of course, except for the fact that I waited for an hour and nearly forty minutes and many items were missing. The wait time, again, is excusable, the fact that items were missing is not so much.

Second time was today, waited an hour and twenty minutes for four items. They claimed that the order was called for as soon as it was ready, however, me and my siblings were waiting quickly after the order was placed (our order was placed online) and we didn’t hear the name for the order. They also claimed that they’d called for the order several times, both by the name and order number. I was sitting there the whole time, I didn’t hear anything related to our order once. Me and my siblings continuously checked to see if the order was ready, “The bags have been waiting on the counter, we were waiting for you to pick it up,” a worker stated—the bags were not, in fact, waiting on the counter.

Both times, multiple people came in, ordered, and got their orders long before mine was even called. Food, 8/10. Service and waiting, 0/10. Call me petty and impatient, but the service...

This location is close to where I live so I wanted to try to order here instead of the Queensway location. I did an online order and I got there a little after the pick up time. I mentioned I was there and they started to prepare my order.

I waited 30 minutes for my order when I got there, there was a bunch of Uber orders that got theirs ahead of me and 2 other ladies that ordered after me got there orders before me too.

When I got home I noticed I was missing my large fries so I called them back, I was not going to go back and pick up the fries so they sent an Uber with my fries.

I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt but the service is horrible. Might give them...

First off, almost all of these 5 star reviews are tied to Indian names....most definitely fake reviews from friends and family of the owners.

Location is new. Staff is still learning, but were friendly. The chicken coating/spices tasted good, but the meat was not good. I rarely eat KFC so am not sure if it's this location only or KFC overall, but the chicken meat was rubbery. I couldn't tell if I had white meat or dark. Was this lab grown meat? Definitely not the same KFC of my childhood. I won't be eating...
