I recently had the pleasure of dining at Kibo Sushi, specifically the Wilson branch in Toronto. Overall, I would rate my experience with four stars, as the restaurant had much to offer, albeit with a slight concern.

It's strange because I've been a customer since they opened this location and this issue has never come up before. I often order the daily special and I ask for steamed yam instead of tempura because of a dietary restriction and they charge a dollar extra, which I pay, no problem.

Over the weekend I wanted to order this exact meal again (have done so several times before) and the chef refused to make it. They said it was too much trouble for a daily special item, yet again they had done this several times before and would charge extra for the change, and I would pay the extra fee. Now they refuse.

No more business from me.

I don't think I am the person you described, I was pretty clear in my request because I've done it so often but the chef was talking to the cashier who answered my call a couple or so times during the call and then the cashier said because it's a cheap order it's too much trouble to steam the yam so...
