This post is in response to your recent comment on my previous review, where you claimed that no one remembers the situation and accused us of being abusive. I’d like to set the record straight with facts.
During our visit, we were seated on the patio. I calmly told your server, Anya, “Please give me your name — I will speak with your management.” We were waiting for the menu at the time.
Instead of owning up to what had happened, she realized her mistake and immediately picked up the phone and called your restaurant, falsely claiming abuse — likely as a way to cover herself and get ahead of the issue.
If you are truly a professional and serious management team, you would have listened to both sides of the story, not just taken your staff’s word without question — especially given I’ve been a long-time customer.
I have video evidence of the incident, along with call logs and credit card records, and I have made multiple attempts to speak with your general manager after my initial complaint — with no response.
Call Log Proof: I have attached my call log clearly showing that I called your restaurant on June 8th and spoke with someone for four minutes. During that call, I attempted to follow up regarding a previous issue, but unfortunately, I never received a response from your general manager, despite multiple attempts.
May Visit Incident: During my visit in May, your server Anya (who was also involved in the recent incident) served me the wrong food. When I addressed the issue, she claimed you didn’t have eggplants — a main part of my order — and dismissed my concern. Rather than escalate at that time, I chose to leave it and call to speak with management. Again, no one followed up.
Proof of Payment: I have already posted my credit card statements showing consistent patronage and the charge from that specific visit. I am a regular customer who has supported your business for years. I was not asking for a free meal — I simply wanted the issue acknowledged and made right.
Abuse Accusation: Let me be clear: no one on my end was abusive. In fact, I have video evidence showing that Anya was the one who acted aggressively and used inappropriate language toward me and my partner. If needed, this video will be shared with the appropriate authorities and platforms.
Next Steps: Since this matter remains unresolved and your staff has responded with false accusations, I will be disputing the May charge with my credit card provider. I will also be elevating this complaint through the appropriate consumer protection channels.
It’s disappointing to be treated this way by a business I have supported for so long. This is not about the dollar amount — it’s about accountability, customer service, and basic respect. I hope future customers read this and understand the...
Read moreWe arrived tonight to the bustling restaurant and eagerly took our spot in line. We waited approximately 10 minutes when another couple arrived after and took their spot behind us. No one greeted us or asked if our names had been taken so we just assumed we would be next. However, the male guest in line behind us, said something to a waitress passing by and she proceeded to split an existing table one couple was at into two and proceeded to seat the couple behind us. My husband was annoyed to say the least, however, I reasoned with him and said they are a couple of 2 and were 3 as our son was with us. The wait staff continued to walk past us without making any eye contact until I said ‘hello’. She looked at me, said there was a wait, asked for my name, number of guests and made a note on the wait list. A party of 4 arrived thereafter and requested to be added to the wait list. Moments later, a table for 4 opened up and the party behind us was seated. Another employee must have noticed and said something to the waitress who seated them because the waitress responded to her peer, “what am I supposed to do about it now, kick them out”? When I voiced my concern to the waitress she said, “don’t worry you’ll get the next table”. On any given Friday evening, a dinner wait would be expected but this was unjust, especially when we had our 12 year old patiently waiting, asking what was happening. My husband proceeded to speak with a gentleman behind the take out counter, raising our concerns. The employee brushed him off so my husband asked to speak with the Manager. The employee said the manager is not here. When questioned who was in charge, the employee said no one here. They started into what looked like a heated debate in the presence of other staff and patrons while my son and I stood at the entrance. Then suddenly the employee started shouting at my husband to leave, turned to my son and I and yelled at us to leave also. Never in my adult life have I ever been so humiliated. We left, me in tears and my son silent.
A case of horrific customer service; from the wait in line with no greeting, wait staff passing us by with no acknowledgement, having two separate parties seated before us, having our concerns and requests to speak with management dismissed, getting yelled at by an employee in front of our child and other staff and patrons, etc. I truly felt compelled to speak up in hopes that no one else will ever endure this treatment, particularly in...
Read moreVery disappointed on the service here tonight, been here multiple times and never ever anything like tonight. Group of eight of us, everyone finished their meals and I'm still waiting for my sandwich. Then as I asked where is my my meal, our server responds with "I dont make the food" and walks away. Then to topp it off she says we are rude. We ask to speak to a manager and not one around to discuss this with us. Then to find out she is an assistant manager. When the Bill's arrive, we all notice that there is a 20% gratuity added, when we question this, she tells us because we are a group of 8, its apparently a company policy. I asked even if we received the worst restaurant service ever, she replied with a "yes". Then proceeded to call us rude once again. Mind you I forgot to mention she spoke like this in front of all your other customers. Another waitress came to speak to us, calmly and more civilized, she looked like she was very embarrassed of her co-worker. As a group we agreed that we would not leave a tip,o period. This then set her off once again by saying "I will remember you all" We did not set out to turn this evening into the worst restaurant experience ever, we even said to the server, were not out to get anyone in trouble, but she should not speak to customers the way she did. I work in the retail industry, and let me tell you, if ever one of my employees or myself we're to speak to a customer like that, we would all be out of a...
