So utterly disappointed in Kibo especially since I used to order it religiously during Covid. Just ordered now and noticed what I got was nothing like their photos online - portions are much smaller now, less rice, smaller piece of sashimi, overall not worth it when you can go to another place where you'll get a standard size for what to expect for sashimi and sushi. Basically paid $27.00 before tax to get thinly sliced fish that looks nothing like the photo, even maki is smaller than the image. Will not be going back ever again and will actually be supporting local business that doesn't thrive on scamming people just because it's a chain and has monopolized so many corners of our city. Save yourself the trouble and go support other small local sushi shops in your neighbourhoods who won't...

first of all, the service deserves a 5 star rating. the food, a little over 2 or 3, at most. this was a visit feb 2023.. the chapchae had the texture but lacked in flavor -mind you we've had chapchae with no meat in it but tasted very good, although i remember the texture was off (i forgot which restaurant). the miso soup was okay at best.. the siumai didnt have anything special to it, we got the shrimp. speaking of shrimp, the shrimp tempura was so-so.. it had a different kind of crunch to it, i guess that's their breading.. the best thing i had was the maguro sashimi, and that really made the visit worthwhile. i also had maki or rolls that had cream cheese in them, and that was pretty good too. girlfriend and i were 75% full, for $50.. not bad, I'd give them...

my order was Kibo Signature Roll (8pc) Rainbow Cali Roll (8pc) Unagi & Avocado Roll (6pc) Spicy Scallop Roll (6pc) Salmon & Avocado Roll (6pc)

all of the rolls were wonderfully delicious. total price was around 65 dollars so each piece was approximately under $2 which is very reasonable for me. I was early picking up my order but only waited about 5 minutes...I asked how much extra ginger slices were and the lady preparing my order said I'll add a bunch to your order don't worry about the price. Overall very friendly and accommodating staff, nice atmosphere and most importantly food was...

This place is close to where I live and we decided to try it out because of the good reviews. The reason I gave only one star is because the portion is very small and the fish on the sushi is so thin and the size of the sushi is also very small. We spent $80 before tips for two people and when we left we were not feeling full. The texture of the red tuna sashimi and sushi was a bit weird and chewy. The miso soup was very salty and we were charged $4 for two green teas. Service was okay but we will never go back.
