Let me first say that the food here is reasonably priced and pretty good and this is a new place that opened last year. I've been here about 3 times. Last night, it was busier than usual with almost every table occupied hence I decided to just grab something to go with my boyfriend. I placed an order for one large Butter Chicken, Paneer Tikka Masala, Lamb Sheekh Kabob, and 2 Garlic Naans. I knew it was busy so I asked the lady how long it would take and she told me it would take 25 minutes. No problem, I thought to myself. I can come back in 25 minutes.
Low and behold, I came back around 20 minutes after and gave my receipt to pick up my order. I didn't mind waiting the additional few minutes. But what was supposed to be 25 minutes turned into 35 minutes so I asked the lady when it would be ready and she told me the lamb sheek kabob takes longer. I didn’t understand why the first time I asked for my order 10 minutes ago, she could’ve just have told me that instead of having us wait around the small dining area/ entrance (the restaurant is extremely small).
Already frustrated but hungry, I just decided to wait a bit longer, but it was already 46 minutes and still no food. At this point I was aggravated and felt ignored since there were tables that came AFTER us that already got their food. I don’t want to be the one to point fingers, but it really did feel like because we were the only NON- INDIAN customers there that we were being treated less while everyone was being served and accommodated in a timely manner. I asked again where the food was and even mentioned that the lady told me 25 minutes but its nearly almost an hour and she didn’t even apologize; she just told me that the lamb takes a longer time. I told her that when I was ordering, I directly asked how long it would take and at that point she could’ve told me that it would take longer than everything else and she just looked at me with bug eyes as if I was being unreasonable for getting mad that I’m here waiting nearly in hour near the entrance. Very unapologetic to the situation. Actually, I felt rather embarrassed because the other employee and dine-in customers were looking at me as if I was creating a scene when my feelings were completely justified. Who in the world would wait 1 hour for their food?!?
It was only when I had demanded a refund for the long wait and terrible customer service that the food just somehow “magically” appeared and was ready. It definitely could’ve been ready earlier but again, we just weren’t a priority because we weren’t brown. It was clear that they were racist and we were being treated secondly because we did not look or speak the same language as everyone else. I honestly didn’t want the food anymore after this horrendous ordeal of gaslighting, being treated like a minority, and on top of that already starving, that I asked for the refund but the lady was trying to argue with me saying how the food is already ready. I said I did not want it anymore as I completely lost my appetite. Still absolutely no regard or apology. Just the lady looking at me as if I was being unreasonable.
Its quite a shame as the food here is pretty good but the people are racist and do not care for customers who aren’t their kind. That leaves a sour taste in my mouth and I will never be going here again. Waiting an hour for our order is just unacceptable and its one thing that it took a long time but it’s another to not take accountability for their mistake. I advise anyone who is not Indian to not go here as you will feel humiliated and treated like nothing but a...
Read moreIt pains to give a bad review to an Indian business but they have let me massively down when I was rooting really hard for them. I think they are incapable of cooking mild spicy food. People who are regular here know that they make their food extra spicy normally and you have to double down on them and tell them very specifically that you want the food for Kids and other non-Indian people. I made the order at the counter and with every sentence I tell them not to make it spicy. But they made it so spicy that I had to literally throw 80% of the food. I ordered their special chicken tariwala, nutri chilli (also their special), paneer tikka red and tandoori chicken (it tasted raw). It was a massive mistake ordering food from them. They have literally ruined an evening and embarrassed me. We cooked daal, made raita at home to save the evening. People who cook there should understand that not all people enjoys sweating while eating and not everybody is ordering food to eat it with alcohol. Regular families with normal spice limit also orders food from restaurants. Non-Indian people should visit this place at their own risk. If you are there, order something with...

We ordered a lot as we were hungry and regretted Jeera rice Lacha parantha Garlic Naan Big size shahi paneer curry Big size veg kofta
Paneer curry was watery. Trust me this is definitely not shahi paneer.
Veg kofta tasted like stale food that they heated for us.. I have never had one like this. I can't even explain what taste it was..
Garlic Naan and lacha parantha were like flaky biscuits.. I wish it was little moist and soft
Jeera rice was half cooked normal rice.. with some jeera topping.. my wife does it much better..
While on the way back home we felt so bad at having been to this place. Within 5 mins placing the order we realized we should not be there coz we were the only customers..
After eating I feel uncomfortable.. wife feels like her food pipe is burning..
And we paid $47.. I am sure in a better fine dining with another additional $10 the feeling would have been much better
Please save yourselves.. prioritize health.. I bet in an year or 2 these places cannot even survive and they will close...
