Going downhill really fast. Been going to this location since the day it opened and it used to be really superb. The shawarma wraps used to have sauce, food actually tasted fresh and the price was still a bit expensive but it was overall good. I eat from this location once or twice a week and have noticed it going downhill. They are super stingy with the sauce and portion as when I've ordered a shawarma in the last few months, it tasted super dry. Like no sauce at all and keep in mind that the price has increased by a bit. Even when I order their large on the rocks, all the good bites are in the corner of the box and its only rice and chicken for the rest of the bites and no sauce. The price has also gone up to like $16. Didn't use to be like that. There's also an increase in cartilage pieces in the food items they have here and the chicken nowadays usually is not fresh. I've been to some locations at Mississauga and the difference of food quality and service is night and day! Prices have gone up and quality has gone down in this location. There's better options for shawarmas if you want a good proper one such as Ali Baba's (one at Rexdale) or Osmow's (Albion location, some locations r garbage too sometimes). Any middle eastern store is way better if you are looking for rice and chicken (on the rocks). Will not be ordering from here again as I am sick and tired of constantly receiving unappetizing orders again and again. Don't waste your money till these guys get their...
Read moreCame here, spent $17 ordered chicken and beef on rice (don't know why they call it on the rocks). Rice is not stone. Watched the staff take beef and chicken out of a container and then put it on the grill as per my request. Because I am tired of hearing (oh its already well done sir). The meat that came out of the container looked nothing like what was on display in a shawarma rotisserie. Further more, I don't understand the need to powder up the meat by using the skillet and chopping up what is already DICED UP 😕. THIS ROB'S THE TEXTURE OF THE MEAT. CHANGES THE TASTE OF THE FOOD.
Also tells me that your not a shawarma go to place. Great for the people that live around the plaza, who don't care about taste or quality.
Staff need to be trained to listen to customers and not speak right away and say it's well done. It's not grilled when I see the meat steaming. Visual clues.
Never seen beef like this before. The taste belonged on a taco or burrito. The can of coke was the only nice thing That was enjoyed. The rest went into the garbage. And I felt horrible for wasting the food not so much the money. To the owner please close up and vacate the plaza. Give your store back to the franchise. Please feel free to hear...
Read moreWorst customer service I have ever received in canada. I called to place an order around 11:20 pm(which is not the busiest time for the shift), while placing the order I just asked my partner which size he want and the girl said first discuss the order with your partner and then call us. I politely replied that this was rude and she reverted because there is a line up in front of me. According to me, that was not an enough reason or justification to treat your customer that way. After that when I went to pick up my order(right after 13 mins),I witnessed only 1 customer was waiting for his order. After placing my order, I mentioned that thing to girl n she replied very rudely and even a boy(Joban) standing next to him was ill-mannered. I asked him how I can convey my feedback to manger, he refused to tell me that. Moreover, when I asked at what time I can call to get connected with the manager or owner, they both said we don’t know and we are not going to share these details. Suddenly that boy got very loud and angry that his colleague has to push him back and stop to avoid any clash, I got terrified by seeing such response. This type of behaviour should be checked by management to avoid any...
