I had the pleasure of ordering take out, for 10, from Estrella Restaurant today, and it was truly an enjoyable experience from start to finish. Let me walk you through the highlights of my visit:

First and foremost, the food was cooked to perfection. The charcoal grilled chicken was still juicy, the potatoes were perfectly cooked without being dry and the rice bursted with flavor.

My order was ready for pickup exactly at the scheduled time, demonstrating their commitment to punctuality and customer satisfaction. The owners' pride in their craft was evident, as they worked together as a team to ensure that everything was correctly prepared, as I had requested.

The cleanliness of the environment was impeccable. The kitchen was spotless, reflecting the high standards of hygiene and attention to detail maintained by the staff.

Despite the large group I was feeding, every guest enjoyed their meal, a testament to the consistency and quality of the dishes served.

Tried Estrela out around 6 weeks ago as we were thrilled to finally have Portuguese Chicken in the neighbourhood. Service was quick, the interior setup was clean, but a little too sterile in design. Felt like somewhere where i wouldn't want to eat in at as it was lacking any ambiance or character, at felt cold. Food Portion was great, but unfortunately the food wasn't.

We ordered a family style platter, and everything was lack lustre unfortunately compared to other Portuguese Chicken spots in the City. BBQ chicken was pale and lacking signs of even being flame grilled, nor signs of any flavour or spice. Frankly, it seemed like it was cooked hours prior; with a similar case with the rice and potatoes. Also for $8 extra, the large salad was sad, should have just made one at home instead.

The redeemable part of the meal was the portion as mentioned for just under $40 that we reinvented with the leftovers, but the lack of flavour and freshness was extremely...

A hidden neighborhood gem! If you have the chance to visit it's well worth it, the food is delicious and the price is fair. We've ordered the steak twice now and both times it was melt in your mouth good. My daughter enjoyed her fish as well. And omgee the potatoes!!!! They make some of the finest mini round potatoes, I can eat just the potatoes and be happy. The bread they serve as well is so good. The place is clean, the staff are kind and welcoming and the cooking grill will impress you with the roasted chicken spinning round and round over the heat.... it looks sooo good.
