I’ve heard lots of good things about this pizza place so wanted to come try it during my lunch break. I got a cheese slice and was waiting for it to be warmed up. I was watching the guy put my pizza in the oven, went on his phone, took out my pizza and literally touched my pizza with his finger (without washing it after being on his phone) to see if the pizza was warm enough. Then put my pizza on a plate and used the same dirty fingers took a bunch of Parmesan and sprinkled it on my slice! Mind you, this is also all without gloves haha. I mean being on your phone is one thing and I genuinely don’t care about that, but at least wash your hands before you touch my food again dude. I ended up letting the cashier know what I saw and they didn’t even bother apologizing or trying to make it right. They just said ok that was the last slice so you’re going to have to wait 15 minutes for another pizza to be made. So sad because I was actually excited to try this pizza and know what all the hype is about but after seeing...
Read moreDespite a premium price of $29, my recent order from Maker Pizza was deeply disappointing. The cheese—an essential element—was virtually absent, leaving me to wonder if it had somehow been overlooked or lost during delivery. The generosity of the toppings was lacking across the board, with the notable exception of the mushrooms, which were surprisingly plentiful. Unfortunately, that was the only positive aspect of the pizza. At this price point, customers expect quality and a thoughtful balance of ingredients. Maker Pizza fell short not just in cheese, but in delivering a satisfying and well-rounded experience. If this kind of skimping is normal, the competition will inevitably leave Maker Pizza behind. It’s time for Maker Pizza to elevate their standards before loyal customers seek better value elsewhere.
P.s. I’ve included a photo of what your pizza looks like without the mushrooms. Even the pepperoni has larger gaps between each other. Your pizzas used to be stacked...
Read moreI love their cheese pizza. I’ve tried a lot of places (North of Brooklyn used to be my favorite), but honestly, the cheese pizza here is the best. Nothing beats it for me.
Their customer service is also really good. I had a small issue once and the manager actually reached out personally to make sure it got sorted, which I thought was really nice.
Another thing I love — they use grass-fed cheese, and you can actually taste the difference. So good.
The only funny thing is the door at the Bayview location — it’s seriously heavy! I have a shoulder issue, and every time I open it, it feels like I’m getting a little workout. The handicap button doesn’t seem to work either, so hopefully they fix that. Not a big deal though because honestly, the pizza is worth it.
Overall , this place is my go-to whenever I’m craving pizza....
