During our recent visit to Ramon’s Kitchen, we were delighted by the warm and inviting atmosphere that greeted us as soon as we walked in. The ambience is a blend of cozy and modern, making it a perfect spot for a relaxed brunch with family or friends. The decor, featuring soft lighting and comfortable seating, added to the overall pleasant experience.
We started our brunch with the Dad’s Breakfast, which included scrambled eggs, whole wheat bread, and French toast. The French toast was perfectly cooked, with a crisp exterior and a soft, fluffy interior, lightly dusted with powdered sugar and served with a generous helping of syrup. The whole wheat bread was fresh and paired well with the spread provided. However, the scrambled eggs were slightly underwhelming. While the texture was creamy, they seemed undercooked, which detracted from the overall enjoyment of the dish. A little more time on the stove could have made them perfect.
Next, we tried the Classic Egg Benny with turkey bacon, which was an absolute delight. The poached eggs were perfectly cooked, with the yolk oozing out beautifully when cut. The hollandaise sauce was rich and buttery, complementing the turkey bacon and English muffin wonderfully. Each bite was a harmonious blend of flavors and textures, making it a standout item on the menu.
The brewed coffee served was robust and aromatic, providing a perfect accompaniment to our meal. It was clear that the coffee was freshly made, with a deep flavor that satisfied our caffeine cravings.
One of the highlights of our visit was the exceptional service. The servers were incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed without being intrusive. Their warm welcome and genuine smiles made us feel at home, enhancing our overall dining experience.
In conclusion, Ramon’s Kitchen offers a delightful brunch experience with a few minor improvements needed. The ambience and service are top-notch, and most of the food is well-prepared and flavorful. With a bit more attention to the preparation of certain dishes, such as the scrambled eggs, it could easily become a favorite brunch...
Read moreHave been wanting to try forever and was so pleased that a friend and I found ourselves just down the street today. Here on a Saturday at noon. Busy but no wait which was nice. Lovely hostess with fantastic pink glasses. Even warned us to sit on the outside of the four top table as the a/c tended to drip on the inside seats. Nice heads up! We sat at a table right beside the line (open kitchen). This kitchen was running so well! Calm and efficient. The owner was behind the line, not cooking but expediting and keeping the ship even keeled. So great to see! We ordered mimsoas and a Schnitzel Benny to share as we had never had one before and they looked huge! I have to say, chefs kiss!! The chicken schnitzel was perfectly breaded, not over cooked, not greasy at all, crispy and juicy. Nice tomato and mushroom sauce and the cheese was melted enough to stretch. The eggs were cooked a lovely soft poached. The Hollandaise had a a nice acidity to it and was light. Multi coloured homefried potatoes and a spring mix salad finished it off. Portion was large!! If I had any complaints it would be the Hollandaise was lost/over powered by the tomato sauce and that the potatoes had no seasoning at all. The mimsoas were made with fresh orange juice and were so good! Service was attentive and friendly. Full 5 stars all around! I'll be back to try some of their other Benny's!! (Sorry. Pics are after we split the meal already - we EACH got a full schnitzel so that pic is just...
Read moreWe visited this cozy breakfast spot on a Sunday morning around 9:30 AM and had a 15–20 minute wait, which is reasonable for a weekend. The staff was very welcoming, and though the place is small, it has a warm and inviting atmosphere. They also have a patio, which might be a great option in the summer.
The food quality was excellent, everything tasted fresh, and the portions were generous. I especially appreciated the fresh salad that came with the meal, not just a random mix of greens. The omelette ingredients were high quality, and the homemade three color fries were amazing.
The coffee was good, better than the free coffee some places offer, with a decent taste. The pancakes were delicious, As for the burger, it was just okay. However, I think a kids’ menu would be a great addition since the portions were quite large for a child. It would also be nice to have the option to swap the salad for something like a pancake without extra charges.
Overall, if you’re looking for a high quality brunch, I recommend this place. The service was fantastic, our server, Sherry, and another lady who seemed to be the manager were both very kind. The restaurant was also very clean. While the pricing felt a bit on the higher side, considering the quality of ingredients and service, it was justified. These days, everything is expensive anyway, but I do wish it was slightly more affordable so we could visit more often.
5 stars for food, service, and...
